Botfly
From Encyclopedia Dramatica
A Botfly is an evil breed of fly that incubates it's eggs under the skin of small mammals. Of the 150-odd different species of botfly, one species in particular, Dermatobia hominis, has mastered the craft of laying their eggs under the skin of human beans.
A pregnant fly captures a mosquito, attaches it's eggs to the mosquito and then releases the mosquito. The mosquito, oblivious to the fiendish package it now carries (and highly satisfied from a little one-on-one time with the botfly), feeds on the blood of a human and transfers the eggs over to the human, embedding them under the human's skin. Satan himself could not have devised a more devilish beast than the botfly.
Eventually, after a period of incubation, the eggs hatch and the larvae begin to visibly crawl under the host's skin. Nine times out of ten, the infection occurs in a left wing, scruffy looking Americunt college student conducting volunteer work in some impoverished part of the world, and the video of the eventual extraction will appear on YouTube.
