[edit] What is "Boychat"?
Boychat is a bulletin board for male homosexual pedophiles. The convention there is to sign posts with "sigpics", typically images of the poster as a boy. The rules at Boychat constrain posters not to explicitly discuss sexual matters. Thus the overall impression is that of a group of rather lonely, lovely, innocent boys chatting harmlessly about frogs, turtles and puppies. However, these innocent images are connected to adult men in the real world, not all of whom have made wise choices in the management of their sexual and emotional needs. It is morally instructive to compare the two images: innocent lad face, and adult male face. Psychologists sometimes talk about pedophilia in terms of integrating "baby-face" and "hairy-face." Oscar Wilde, in The Portrait of Dorian Gray, makes drama by ironically reversing the expectations of aging: Dorian Gray retains his youthful beauty in person, but the moral degradation of his life becomes visible in his painted portrait. Plato sometimes attempted to illustrate his world of forms (e.g., pedophilia) by a parade of exempla. Another inspiration for the aesthetic approach to moral discourse is Faces of Meth Also, Goofus and Gallant from Highlights magazine . . . I was always kind of hot for Goofus......*sigh*.... - In reviewing this gallery, it becomes possible to catalog the different patterns of response, the unique soul-styles, the diverse personality strategies that men use to cope with the harsh spiritual fact of harboring in themselves the bad angel of Pedophilia, whom the Greeks called Apollo. For starters, consider two of Boychat's former webmasters. Dylan Thomas was recently identified as an America's Ten Most Wanted fugitive, and captured in a Mexico village after living the life of an outlaw for 8 years; Robbie Malloy was involved in a lively pedophile love-triangle leading to the shooting death of his wandering young lover.

Didaskalos was banned for "linking nicks," i.e., encouraging Boychat posters to be aware of the real-world consequences of their fantasies. Rather than allowing webmaster Dylan Thomas to dictate the terms of his return, Didaskalos waited patiently for the inevitable regime change . . .

The BoyChat gallery at Encyclopedia Dramatica is just about the scummiest thing you could have done.
Unlike you, those are real people.
There can be real-life consequences from that kind of shit.
Not all of those people are as out as you are.
