A transvestite is actually someone (generally a straight and married man, which goes to show how fucked-up Christians are for inventing it) who crossdresses and gets some sort of perverted pleasure out of it. Most EDers, however, are retarded and can't grasp this simple concept.
A transsexual, on the other hand, can technically be one of two things but really only one as FTMs don't really exist.
- A MTF transsexual or tranny lite, is like a female, only with a cock and an Adam's apple. The transsexual is unlike the usual variety of shemale as it is a coward and does not want surgery on its cock, making it a wussy faggot that's just a man in women's clothing. They are both trannies in the sense that they want to be women but never will be.
- A FTM transsexual doesn't exist, it is completely socially acceptable for women to wear pants nowadays, a trend some seek to eradicate. The only way for a woman to be a transsexual is to draw a beard on her face with permanent marker. These people aren't transsexuals, they are filthy retards.

Transvestites are the worst; refusing to take hormones or have any kind of surgery, they look exactly like they are: stupid men dressed as women and expecting everyone to go along with it. They thus produce a steady stream of vomit from anyone unfortunate enough to see one.
Transvestites enjoy tea, long walks on the beach, and candle-lit dinners. They also have tits so nice you could set them on a platter, as long as you don't look at the Frankenstein's-monster scars underneath them or touch them and feel the bowling-ball consistency. Most transsexuals are such failures that movies tend to feature women in transvestite and transsexual roles, since most people would suffer a lollercaust if a director tried to get them to take a transsexual seriously as a female.
Recent examples include Transamerica (a particular source of pride for Wikipedia trannie Jokestress), Breakfast on Pluto, and many more. Some would claim Stephen Dorff as Candy Darling in I Shot Andy Warhol and Tim Curry as Dr. Frankenfurter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, both made about a hundred years ago, as exceptions. However, each is playing a sympathetic if confused man dressed as a woman rather than a transsexual per se.

Transsexuals love the Internet because it gives them a site where no-one can visually confirm the extent of their delusions or even suffer a lollercaust due to their preposterous claims. This is particularly true of Wikipedia, where they have their own cabal (further details below).
Thirteen-year-old boys are sometimes inexperienced and hormone-confused enough to fantasize about shemales preying on them; since some are naive enough to believe that females have penises too. This approach has gained traction in the age of the Internet and such boys end up getting ass fucked.
