DragonForce is a British power metal band formed in London in 1999. They suck ass IRL (and otherwise, for that matter), and are known for their fast paced songs, twin guitar solos, and incorporation of "video game" sounds into their "music". Dragonforce is also known to go by Nintendoforce and Dragonfarce.

Dragonforce was formed in 1999 from the remnants of black metal band Demoniac under the name of DragonHeart, but soon changed their name to DragonForce because they wanted to avoid any legality issues with Brazilian band "Dragonheart" thought the name wasn't gay enough. Their career began to skyrocket after Steve Williams and Steve Scott left the band to form power metal outfit Power Quest, a band with an equally awesome name.

DragonForce can play their guitars "really, really fast" and are hailed by some as being the hardest metal known to man. Though they place more emphasis on speed than actual technique or variation, and can't play live for shit [1]. But none of this matters, because they can play their instruments FAST! A favorite of furries, /b/tards and assholes everywhere, who need some metal on their Zune to look cool. Also, they are known to speed up their songs in studio to make it sound EVEN FASTER.
If you ask any real metal fan if he likes DragonForce, the usual answer you'll get is "BLAFARAGH?" This is because DragonForce fans, much like elves, magic, and marital rape, don't exist... Okay, so the band does have some fans; but, as previously stated, they are assholes. If confronted by a DragonForcehole, simply respond 'DragonForce=DragonMass times DragonAcceleration.' This will leave the faggot completely helpless and stupid, allowing you to reap in your own personal victory.

For some reason, the members of Dragonforce (and most other mainstream metal bands) seem to be under the misguided illusion that they live in a medieval RPG. The band's songs are known for being fast, repetitive, and sung in ALL CAPS. Once you have heard one of DragonForce's songs, you have heard EVERY DragonForce song. DragonForce has two lead guitarists: Herman Ri and Dave Mason. Herman Ri was chosen as a guitarist because Asia is OMGCOOL, and nobody exactly knows why Dave Mason was chosen. He was than replaced by some drunk fag. They're teh FASTEST GUITARISTS EVAR!!!1!!1oneoneone Both of these assholes star in their own Jewtube video where they try to show off but only end up failing as always. The ultimate test of one's basement-dwellerhood in Guitar Hero III is a successful completion of "Through the Fire and the Flames" on Expert mode, the highest level of difficulty. It is a feat comparable to beating Battletoads...EXTREMELY HARD AND FRUSTRATING. If you should complete this feat, remember that it doesn't make you actually able to play an IRL guitar, and that you probably have doomed yourself to dying alone.
