• April 20th: The first An hero is created. This is now known as An Hero Day.

• August 23: /b/-day – After a posse of /b/tards go on a raiding spree spanning the entire night (attacking Teenbabynet, WikiFur, myg0t, and tons of other fgt sites), moot bans all "illegal content" from 4chan, including CP, JB, raiding, and posting personal information; some of /b/'s most cherished past-times. moot announces that anyone who posts illegal content will be permabanned forever. moot also announced that simply replying to a thread with illegal content will result in a two-week global ban. 4chan goes apeshit and a civil war breaks out – many /b/tards leave and take up residence in 7chan or 420chan. 7chan and 420chan then DDoSed 4chan into oblivion with massive spamming, and the site was down for 24 hours.

• January 2: The Great Sonic-cide of 2007 begins with a bunch of Sonic the Hedgehog fantards committing e-suicide with knives and bricks.

• April 16: Virginia Tech massacre – A butthurt azn's VTEC kicks in, causing him to go batshit insane, grab two pistols and pwn 32 people and injure 29 moar before becoming an hero. Tributes soon flowed out faster than Tubgirl's sweet stream of sickly yellow shit-nectar. This then prompted trolls to create lulzy fake "tribute" sites making fun of the events, causing many moar to get butthurt as well.

• May 3: Disappearance of Madeleine McCann – Four-year-old Madeleine McCann is snatched from a hotel in Portugal while her parents left her at home so they could dine in hell. Money pours in, but trolls do their thang and soon much lulz is had due to their bad parenting. Over 9000 Photoshops appear , in which Maddy is endlessly bombarded with BBQ by Bantown.
