  • I'm a fan of our Privacy Policy, it helps cut through a lot of the bullshit. I do not understand the relevance of Tony_Anglesey to ED. What does Tony Anglesey have in common with content on ED? He may be a spammer, or a scammer. But there are thousands. Anti-Illogicopedian vendetta

I have become aware that some members of ED have an enmity with Illogicopedia. Why is this? Is it supported by the whole site? Some WHAT!? 18:06, 13 September 2008 (CDT)

  • There is no such thing as an "ED member" as you put it. There are howevar, dozens of hardcore ED users (besides the Sysops) who constitute an ED 'community' of sorts and would prolly name ED as their #1 Internets destination and spend a lot of time contributing to the general upkeep and improvement of the site in all areas.

But the vast majority of ED users come from all over the Internets and use it to throw down, document and bag on the communities that are relevant to their interests, be that YouTube, TOW, DA or the chans.

TL;DR: If someone has a hardon for Illogicopedia, it's not because we sat around ED HQ and put it on our 'hit list'; ED's core is chaotic neutral on the whole. So it's either an individual or a group of users who see you as worthy of trolling and milking for lulz. I was wondering if anyone thought it might be a good idea to have a "Chanology improvement" drive after the current improvement drive is finished. It shouldn't take that much time. I know most people don't really care about Chanology anymore, myself included. However it was lulzy for a few months and obviously internet relevant and so I would argue that it should be properly chronicled. What we have right now is a shit ton of articles related to Chanology, only a fraction of which meet the stated standards of ED. A lot of people got tired of Chanology leaving many of these articles half completed. Others, like the main Chanology page are bloated monstrosities. Then there's some that should just be baleeted. And I'm not trying to start this stupid newfag vs. oldfag bullshit but a lot of those articles seem to be written in a style different from most ED articles. I just think something with so many articles on the site should be brought up to the site's standards.
