A Rangerphile is like a
pedophile but rather than being solely into children, Rangerphiles are way, way, waaaaaay too into the cartoon Rescue Rangers. Rescue Rangers is a shitty Disney show from the early 90's centering around the characters Chip and Dale, who are kind of like
Alvin and the Chipmunks - except less singing and more gay. The show ran from 1989 - 1990 with 65 episodes made total. It was well liked among kids at the time but it was easily forgotten and not worth obsessing over to any extent.
At least, this is what we thought, until the Rangerphiles found Encyclopedia Dramatica, and the chaos began.
