Article of the Now — Erik Möller

Erik Möller is the Deputy Director of the Wikimedia Foundation, the parent organization behind Wikipedia. Ironically, he also embodies one of the main faults of Wikipedia: that the "cult of the amateur" allows anyone arrogant enough to insert their own personal views into an article where they have no knowledge or training to do so.

Although Wikipedia bows to NPOV, Erik's views on child abuse, child sexuality, and pedophilia are nowhere near neutral, let alone close to normal. While enlightening the child in Africa about child sexuality, he also conveniently included such such gems as "it is generally acknowledged that children are capable of feeling sexual pleasure, even if they are not yet able to engage in sexual intercourse with each other, and/or are not yet biologically able to reproduce."
