Encyclopedia Dramatica talk:DeviantART Improvement Drive/tagged

Exercise restraint and good judgement when tagging articles please. If a page is in multiple categories and you're unsure about who should remain or go, then do not tag it. When you're finished combing the category hit me up.

EnchantsRequiem should stay

While it is only a single incident, it was massive, and definitely worth documenting. I say that it stays, even as is. HedgeJew 21:17, 24 May 2008 (CDT)

Improvements

I'm watching this page now; I don't know much about DevianTART (not a member there, never was) but I'm getting tired of seeing terrible ED articles about tracers and whatnot. I also watch New Pages pretty closely so expect to see a lot of tagged articles, provided they're not so bad that they get flushed right off. --kh/ what 17:02, 7 September 2008 (CDT)

DA Article formatting issues

The main DA article has this following issue with edit links:

The Edit links do not correspond with their sections and occasionally overlay body text. On some occasions multiple edit links appear for a single section.

Ive made a couple attempts to remedy this situation, but it's not working.

Any help or expertise on this is appreciated.

  • The only way to fix this is to merge some of the sections. I will copypasta the article to my userspace and see what I can do with it.
  • I'll remove some unlulzy content while I'm at it, and try to format it to look more professional. This article looks like it was written by a 5 year old due to 8623589247298356293862 tartlets with no wiki knowledge adding shit to it a day.

  • Occasionally it may be best to add a __NOTOC__ or __NOEDITSECTION__ tag to the article to clean up unnecessary tables of contents or edit section links. It definitely cleans things up and is especially handy for pages with lots of small sections. --kh/ what 23:46, 1 October 2008 (CDT)
  • I can go through this article and merge some sections and prune it down if it helps.
  • KillHamster: should these tags be inserted in the subsections ?
  • Perhaps we can prune up the article and remove editing of older established sections?

Snoopyfemme? [Y/N]

  • I know jackshit about most dA stuff (with few exceptions) but is Snoopyfemme eligible for being tagged the daid template? All it is, is a bunch of links, things like "more lulz for us" and "secret imaginary friend" with no screencaps or evidence. However, I may be biased since I'm cool with her (which is why I'm posting this here instead of the actual tagged page) but the article's been tagged crap for almost a year and is rarely touched, if at all.
