At least 100 years ago, some dude founded DeviantArt. Then DeviantArt disallowed porn. People whined. Years later, some other dude founded SheezyArt, which was basically DeviantArt with a worse layout and more porn. Then SheezyArt disallowed porn. People whined. About five minutes after the SheezyArt mod post, some guy posted a link to FurAffinity, a site for furry porn which had apparently been coded in those same five minutes.
But these are furries we're talking about; of course they loved it! I mean, porn! Porn mostly involving furry kangaroos being inflated! And so they were off to a roaring start. Within minutes they suffered their first 'hack attack' and immediately blamed everyone who was not a porn-loving furry for keeping them down. This happened about eight times (in a row) until someone actually did hack the site by having a period all over it.
Eventually all the crying wolf actually did attract the attention of a hacker, who proceeded to hack the database and in a matter of time posted everyone's passwords to the entire internet. But really it was all Sibe (for serious).
The mods (an inflated kangaroo, his yiffy mate, his two friends who also like inflating kangaroos, and an otherkin woman-trapped-in-a-man's-body (with a one inch penis)) were angered at this hacking, and responded in the only way they knew how to — by posting a warning for him to not do it again (and also threatening to take the hacker to internet court.)
Channel Cat, the founder of SheezyArt, hangs around FurAffinity and breaks the code in new and interesting ways.
Whenever the users use a feature on the site to complain about how it is bug-ridden and exploit-filled, the admins remove that feature in a homage to the very first furry, Hitler.

Furaffinity's admins are a varying collective of emotionally insecure and socially awkward rejects who haven't even a single clue of what to do when it comes to having the responsibility as a site admin. This certain flaw, which also applies to furaffinity's forum-goers and- well, pretty much almost the entirety of the site can be exploited in order to achieve dickloads of lulz.

The leader and most mature of the group, he whines in his journal about the other admins wiping his work with their ass and how he is still trying to learn how to learn Linux. Recently moved out of his mom's house and now lives in an apartment with three other furries, two of which are FA admins (Roo, Aerak, and Nauta). Apparently, someone at the DoD decided it was a good move to give Sekrit[2] clearance to him so he could develop computer systems in Kyrgyzstan. Over there, he was a Contractor for U.S. Department of Defense providing first and second level software/hardware support for NIPR/SIPR systems located at Manas Air Base in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Installed, repaired and maintained 800+ desktop and servers on site. Moderated Active Directory system, granting and applying permissions and securities, creating accounts, distro/sec groups, organizational mailbox accounts over non-classified to Top Secret information storage systems. Maintained exchange system, user mailbox, enforcing data storage limits and policies, updated and maintained DHCP, toned data ports, coordinated with network team to resolve switch/network issues and helped maintain firewall information. Windows XP Professional environment. Documented, reported, communicated outages across multiple countries for immediate resolution. Work hours consisted of 60-hour weeks. This is more evidence of furluminati in action.

A self-confessed otherkin, he (or she as he prefers to be called) is the one who pays for the entirety of the server (a carefully nurtured facade, since the vast majority of these finances are actually donations from other users). Puts up with stress by whining about how all the other admins suck in the IRC chat, and also by randomly flipping out and kicking people for spelling his name wrong. Reportedly has a one-inch penis, and has posted naked pictures of himself on the internet (which he refused to provide for this article). In July 2005 broke down and started deopping the mods that couldn't spell, after which he was fired and resigned.

For this blatant trolling and disrespect towards the mods, she got her developer abilities taken away and her password changed so she could no longer access the site. Her enormous, cavernous vagina is still used as shelter for furries during the cold winter months. She is also black.She is also an EXPERT ARTIST with l33t skillz.

Wolfblade (AKA Essayblade) is a dedicated Lulz hater who so hates controversy that he will destroy threads, delete journals and ban users at the slightest hint of “drama.” If ever two furfags with differing opinions cross paths, Wolfblade will be there to ban both of them. Wolfblade’s usual modus operendi is to first yell at anyone posting negative comments on another user’s journal or artwork, threatening to ban EVERYONE. And then to ban everyone, whether or not they’re posting anything negative. And then to ban the original poster for “instigating drama.”
Wolfblade writes huge tl;dr posts to explain his fucktarded administrative decisions. Nobody has ever actually read through an entire Wolfblade post, but, if this journal is any indication, they mostly consist of butthurt crying about how mean trolls are and how no one appreciates his tireless efforts to kill the lulz and SHOULDN’T WE JUST BAN THEM ALL?? In replying to the ensuing deluge of comments, Wolfblade also expresses his fear that dreaded “troll packs” are running rampant throughout FA and frets: Won’t somebody think of the children?? Furfag sycophants overwhelmingly voice their support for harsher punishments against anyone looking for lulz, but a few lone dissenters stand out. True to form, Wolfblade accuses skeptical furfag Wraywolfe of being a troll:
He's actually a prime example here. There's different types and levels of bothersome people in the community, and he's a lower-level version of one of the most frustrating types: The ones who start off civil, and rational, and seem to be making perfectly reasonable devil's-advocate points. But who very quickly reveal that their primary interest in taking the opposing position is that if they succeed in getting people to listen to them, it keeps the environment open for the casual off-hand pattern of abuse and unnecessary insults they know they are a part of on occasion, and don't want to get in trouble for. These types are the most frustrating because in trying to defend the freedom of undesirable behavior, they initially demonstrate that they are perfectly capable of behaving in a manner fitting a mature and non-hostile adult. They just prefer to be free to choose not to.
Like all furfags, Wolfblade is in it for the porn... shitty gay Teddy Ruxpin porn. But don’t you dare point this out to Wolfblade, because he’s really sensitive about the fact that his cock loves 80s interactive talking toy bear. If you do, he just might ban you. His hatred for drama also means that he totally flips out if people post anything on a user’s FA page after they’ve been banned, since in his mind this constitutes “kicking them when they’re down. Yet, Wolfblade himself loves to leave sarcastic comments behind after he’s kicked someone off the site; observe his very mature reaction during the Krystal Can’t Enjoy Her Sandwich saga.

Backseat mod who likes kiddie porn and lemonparty. Will occasionally hack or lurk into other users' accounts, troll as them, and then report it as himself. Once also put beecock as someone's avatar.
As a Trial Admin, Dave already has this obsession of control, repression and enforcement of the policy. His personality is filled with conservatism and puritanism, which makes Dave a god of hypocrisy for having some weird fetishes and a certain attraction to furry porn.
Due to his status of Trial Admin, Dave has to report policy violations, even the most insignificant ones ( incl. fanart with copyrights not in the description, pictures above 1280x1280, mature content in a furry site ) to one of the real admin staff to take action. If no action is taken, Dave doesn't let down and contacts another admin until his work has been recognized and the user banned. Everybody hates him.
Rumors ares circulating that he owns multiple accounts to report PV's on FurAffinity or even troll Furaffinity users, then ban his own trollings accounts, and blame Anonymous, and once again, DaveHyena saves the day !
Additionally, Dave owns an account on DeviantArt where he posted some of his artworks. Acting like a troll and harassing multiple users, especially furries with both a DA an FA account, he finally got banned. Anyways the reasons which forces him into acting this way remains unknown.

Recently, Dave Hyena tattled on an unfunny spam account posting shooped pictures of Krystal from Starfox eating a sandwich. Enraged by this open attack on lulz, FA's latent troll population erupted into open rebellion, taunting Dave Hyena with endless sandwich-related memage and shoops of his pompous avatar. Expect the apparent leaders of the revolt to be banned within days for actually producing lulz.

Froyst, who broke the site and was deopped for calling all the users whining babies (or maybe saying 'fuck'); Roo, Jheryn's 'mate' and PR mod who cannot spell 'ads' correctly; Vitae, who was given modship for web design and ended up doing PR, and was dropped without informing anyone, much less Vitae herself.
[edit] Breaking July Drama
Following the long history of art sites being drama magnets, Arcturus has taken his ball and gone home, and now apparently plans to start his own art site, called 'artfu'. We'll see how that goes. With their track record, it'll last five days before being reduced to crazy bickering.
Things start with a post by Arcturus on the FA LJ (and main FA site). People start posting about how FA is going to die because Arcturus was the only person paying for it. Those posts get deleted. People post about how Arcturus is a big meanie and Jheryn rocks. Those posts do not get deleted. Suule (one of the mod hangers-on) posts a chat log between Jheryn and Arcturus, trying to get the users to realize what a big meanie Arcturus is. Most of the comments are along the lines of "This is supposed to bias us against Arcturus?" and so Suule disables comments (to prevent trolling, of course).
Arcturus shows how he can be the bigger man by publically calling out Suule: To those of you that wish to continue debating against Suule, in PUBLIC, where he cannot twist your words(...). Vitae comes out to mention how she was deopped without notice. The possibly foreign mod of fa_gripe posts a diatribe about how Arcturus rocks and Arcturus is furry Jesus and the FA mods are ingrates for not bowing to his every whim.
Meanwhile, on the main FA site, a news post is made about "a change in the administrative layout and how things are handled" and also downtime, because hey, they have no one to pay for their furry porn.
[edit] Fur Wars: The Pedobear Strikes Back
At least 100 years ago legitimate artists began submitting their art to FurAffinity. Some of these masterpieces depicted juvenile furries doing what furries do best – yiffing! Unfortunately this broke the Terms of Service of FurAffinity which disallows “Clearly underdeveloped sexual characteristics for the species being represented, either by comparison to other characters in the depiction, or other 'well known' characters”, but no one seemed to noticed, possibly because they were appreciating these high caliber pieces of art. Due to the lack of policy enforcement it was quickly assumed by users that pedofurria did not fall under the Terms of Service agreement.
Then last Thursday a group of closed-minded individuals found the depiction of underage furries to be disgusting and pointed out that the Terms of Service forbid such submissions. Furry Hitler, the administrator and owner of FurAffinity, sided with these individuals and began fursecuting all the poor pedofurs on the site.
Down, but not out, the pedofurs rose up together and rallied their plight, since everyone knows that drawing underage penis is a legitimate form of art and freedom of expression. See: zeriara, a popular pedo. Soon the ranks of the pedofurs rose until they stood strong and defiant against the administration. Bowing to the public pressure, Furry Hitler decided to run a public poll that was TOTALLY NOT RIGGED in order to decide whether or not to ban pedofurria art.
Many users threatened to leave FurAffinity 4ever if the ban was passed, and many of the closed-minded individuals who illegitimately fursecute the poor pedofurs also similarly threatened to leave FurAffinity 4ever if the works of art were allowed.
On the 5th of November, 2006, justice finally prevailed and pedofurria was DENIED on FurAffinity and all the Furfags rejoiced in a celebration| with the audience of JEWS and Trent Reznor. Semen flowed through Sparta like wine as the evil close-minded individuals finally made good on their threats and left the shores of Middle-Earth 4ever. All was finally good and safe for the pedofurs, finally having no safe haven to practice their pedofurria.
While much of the event is shrouded in secrecy, it is no secret that all of them are furries and should be mocked accordingly.
Recent news: apparently there is a "cub" section now on FurAffinity, when this happened... eh, no one cares.
[edit] FA of Today -OR- Is this cancer actually gone?
Nowadays, Fur Affinity spends most of its time going up and down in a not-discreet attempt to extort its users of money by claiming to lack the funds necessary to keep its servers up. Websites using the same provider, however, have no trouble staying up during such downtimes. Curious, that.
The one update for FurAffinity showed that is that the Admins have hijacked the website from the owner and first creator, therefore showing furrys hate each other even on the inside.
This downtime is often spent whoring Second Life in a lame attempt to increase FAs user base, though it's more likely done for the kickbacks from Linden Research, Inc.
The number of times the site has gone down is an astronomical number. It goes down as much as the users go down on their dogs. Now if only it stayed down, but like all furries FurAffinity will seem like it's leaving da fandom 4evar only to show back up a week later apologizing for sucking. You'd think that since it has changed owners over 9000 times they might get a competent one, but then you have to remember you're dealing with furries. Hey, why run a good website? There's new Tails porn on Fchan!
As of 4-Aug-08 it's been down for over a month! Is the cancer finally gone? It looks like $16'000 was enough to afford chemo for the admins. Nope, it's still here...

FA’s main reason for existence is to stroke the egos of i’s creator .. arguably the purpose of any non-profit “service” however the secondary goals are as follows.
1. Create a powerbase for often egocentric “legendary” artists such as MaxBlackrabbit, and zen.
2. Attract every worthless brown nosing, anus licking furfan in existence, and place them before mentioned “legendary artist” for a juicy mouthful of E-cock.
3. Provide more “exposure” for budding (read: shitty) artist. Presumably letting them gauge their skill by how many +watches they get (more is better)
4. Fill up one of the great lakes with fur-fan semen.

On the dark and stormy night of July 23, administrative dousch Alkora Husky aka Jheryn Lightfoot kidnapped Fur Affinity off the internet and refused to give it back unless he received his ransom demands of over 9000 yiffscritches. Since he's was apparently the only admin with the DNS access, he tried to extort money out of Dragoneer in exchange for the domain name. Dragoneer refused, so Alkora redirected the domain name to another server, tricking the gullible into thinking FA was down. Oh, what a clever trick! FA is really right here, but oh how the furfags will cry in the morning when denied their daily fap material! At present, Alkora Husky may go down in furry history as the next Sibe. Only time will tell.
[edit] Fur Wars: The Pedobear Strikes Back: Take 2
On December 14, 2007 Fender/Dragoneer opened up a contest in his journal for new donation buttons. The winner of the contest by a landslide was ediskrad for his Will Drop Pants 4 Bandwith submission. Much drama and lulz ensues after a furry known as Mottenfest called out on the button, calling it cub art. Other furs follow his path, saying that because ediskrad's gallery is full of cub porn must mean that the button contains cub as well. Ediskrad retaliates, saying that the button was based from The Simpsons, while calling the protesting furs "Fucking..Furry..r/tards." Some furs have even gone so far as to threaten leaving FurAffinity forever if the donation button were used.
