Furry art

Furry art is one of the most recent examples of oxymoron on the internets, although it's been around for at least 100 years.
Not to be considered art, nor necessarily furry, it generally revolves around the central character (if more than one), being an anthropomorphic being, generally in a yiffy connotation, such as taking out the trash.
Furry art is also recognizable by the comments attached to the artwork. Even though the piece might look like the creation of a randy, illiterate, sexually-depraved, 14-year old, Pokemon fan with a bad habit of eating his crayons, furries will jump over themselves to praise the artistic abortion with lavish amounts of sycophancy. Current theory is that furry art would disappear completely if it weren't for the hot air of the furries themselves.
Furry porn does not always deal with mammals, in this instance, it deals with dinosaurs having all the typical furry things: unbirth, rape, vore, furry love telepathic bond, fecalphilia and coprophagia, farting, and tracking your next rape victims by scent like a dog.
In addition to their visual works, some furries have taken it upon themselves to spoil other new and exciting areas of creativity, namely music. If we are lucky, they will not start making crap like this into 'fursicals', a furry hybrid of dance, music, and dramatics (oh wait, that was Cats). Analysts predict that if this trend is not curbed they will break into other pseudo-careers, such as 'journalism' or 'astronautics'. It is questionable though if a fursuit is functional in the space environment.
Although most Furry artists are usually American, there are a small handful of Japanese artists, notably Dr. Comet and Tojyo. They tend not to be involved much in the furry community (probably because it's filled with faggotry), and appear to be very protective of their art. Tojyo stopped producing art altogether due to art thiefs posting his stuff under their name, and also due to his doujins being upped onto the internet, for a good 3 years, then suddenly reappeared on FA. Comet has also stopped for similar reasons (CD's being distributed).
