Furtard - Usually applied a noun, ("Get fucked, furtard.") but it can be used as an a adjective ("Furtarded, furtardedness, furtardy, furtardish, furtardest"). - A word used to describe people of the furry community, particularly people with certain attributes, including many things which will be further defined as the article goes on.
The basic composition of a furtard can include, but is not limited to the following qualities: In general
- Many furtards are fat, plain and simple.
- A lot of them are ignorantly right wing. (See also Conservatism)
- Most of them are sex crazed; more so than the rest of us. (Spending the entire day on the computer, looking at porn and trying to get cybersex, mostly because it is unattainable in real life.)
- When they argue with you, and I use the term loosely, it is entirely too pathetic for words. (This means their insults are revolving around the word "democrat" or "jerk".)
- Contrary to their smutty, but god awful artwork, most of them are ugly as sin. (And if you are uglier than I, you have a problem. Especially if you think you are sexy.)
- Many of these people will also have you believe they have stones. (See also balls.) Believe us here at ED; they don't.
- Most furtards also lack basic hygiene. (This doesn't just mean washing their hair. It means taking a shower at all.)
And of course, the worst of all these:
- DENIAL (And I'm not talking about the river. See also liar.)

I use the word explanation, because there is no excuse.
We all know that in every group in the many societies of this world, there are idiots. Christians and republicans have Bush, homos have those who participate in the gay pride parade, black people have Flava Flave, women have feminists, and men have pigs. However, while many of these groups have about a fifty percent rate of idiocy (even though all groups made of failure), the furry fandom has about a ninety percent stupidity rate, making it one of the worst, next to InuYasha nerds, and Gothic teenagers.
A wise man once asked me the question, "These people REALLY hate themselves, don't they?" I cannot say that I disagree. While many furtards claim to like themselves and who they are, it is clear that they do not. When you are a morbidly obese, hairy, smelly, social recluse, who acts like a "sexy vixen with DD breasts", one statement can only be made. You are not proud to be who you are, and you are hiding your true personality beneath a facade. A pathetic facade, at that.
While it is nice to like animals, and there is nothing wrong with having fun in pretending to have a tail and/or ears on the internet (as the internet is clearly for these sorts of things), there is a line which furtards cross, from harmless to just plain awful.
[edit] Pride and Arrogance - The one consistency
One thing that is consistent with all furtards is that they have something called "furry pride". Clearly, the definition of pride has been lost to these people. Sad, yes; but true. Rather than pride, they demonstrate pure, unadulterated arrogance.
Pride - noun - A sense of one's own proper dignity or value; self-respect.
How can furtards claim to be proud when they have nothing to be proud of? Are they proud of being unsocialized? Are they proud of being unkempt, poorly educated, and, lets face it, sex crazed? I'm not sure about the rest of you out there, but shouldn't pride be taken in something that demonstrates noble, humane qualities? And even more so, shouldn't pride have to do with who you are and not what you are?
Furtards seem to forget that what you are, is simply a part of who you are. And seeing as they seem to hate who they really are, what is there to take pride in? Nothing.
The marching, arguing, and absolute demand to be "treated respectfully" comes out of believing that because they are what they are, they deserve better treatment. This is a delusion, clearly. Respect is earned through your person, not through your rank or place in society.
Frankly, Martin Luther King would be pissed. He believed that black people deserved to be treated equally because they are human, not because they are black. Contradictory to what furtards will tell you, that is not their belief. Because if you got to know them as a person, you wouldn't respect them anyways.
