Gay boys

gay_boys was perhaps the most shallow community on LiveJournal. The prerequisites for joining gay_boys (fondly referred to as "Vapid N' Shallow") included:
- Low IQ (<110)
- An Open mind
- A variety of STDs
- A body ana would be proud of.
- Absolutely no grasp of grammar, punctuation or spelling.
- A willingness to suck off homeless people in the bathroom of a McDonald's
- Access to the Penis Qigong, helping gay boys Enlarge penis size or [get rid of Impotence, premature ejaculation and Erectile dysfunction].

[edit] Gay_boys: R.I.P. 2001-2005
Some queer PMSed and the community is no longer. However, since the faggotry on the internets never stops, a new community has emerged:new_gay_boys. new_gay_boys exists solely for a the moderator's, smartypantsnyc, feelings of impotence and rage, and trolling via iconoclast.
Current projects in the new_gay_boys include camwhoring, multiple failures at wit, and the overuse of '<3'.

There are certain phrases that take on new meaning in gay_boys. These are standard statements that carry little to no meaning in any community, but can speak volumes in vapid n' shallow:
- "That's funny" - I don't get it.
- "You're cute" - Let me put my STD juice in you
- "Can I friend you?" - You live close to me, and I intend on sleeping with you.

Additionally, the community is populated by certain breeds of attention whores. These are:
- Crosspostus maximus
- These guys think that each and every thing they write is unique and special, and has to be crossposted to the community from their personal journals. Example include banal entries devoid of meaning to anyone but the author, and pretentious yet hollow coming-out stories that span dozens of brief, craptastic chapters.
- Camerus whorus
- Boys who post multiple pictures of themselves in a desperate and transparent attempt to get self-affirming comments. See Internet disease.
- Gothus emofaggus
- Boys in black eyeliner who post their tepid, angsty poetry written late at night while listening to My Chemical Romance CDs.
- Parisus groupius
- Guys who think posting pictures of Paris Hilton and worshipping her shallowness and shaved cooter makes them original yet uniquely gay.
