The TV Series
This was originally a TV series which became so popular that it was later made into a movie. The beginning of every show had a disclaimer about how viewers should not attempt any of the stunts on the show. This of course ensured that every 13 year old boy in the world tried each and every stunt shown. This made parents worldwide have simultaneous heart attacks but after 5 minutes nobody gave a shit because all 6 imitators died.
The Movie
After the highly successful series some rich and beautiful producers decided to make it into a movie. This movie was then so successful that it spawned a sequel. The fact that even one person watched this piece of shit is a blight on society.
Making this movie was basically a way to get 13 year old boys to rape their parents wallets for $10 to watch a TV show in a movie theater. Attendance increased when it was revealed there was nudity in it but millions were disappointed to find that this nudity was just Steve-O's ass and they were once again forced to type boobies into the Google image search.
Influences on Popular Culture
As well as inspiring 13 year old boys to rape their parents wallets, Jackass inspired a group of 13 year old boys called "The Teenage Kings of Werribee" to rape a retarded girl. Johnny Cash, the leader of the Jackasses, proclaimed his happiness with this by offering the kids in question a movie deal; "[Give them a contract immediately!] I want to shoot those bastards!" Entitled Kings of Hazzard, filming begins sometime last Thursday.
