Music Forum
From Encyclopedia Dramatica
The Music Forum is another of the shitty forums on devianTART. Its purpose is not, as might be expected, to talk about music, but to make badly-spelt posts about how " hawt" you think a particular member (usually the vocalist) of the latest shitty group of people exploiting the popularity of teenage angst is. You will then be chastised by several people who are smart enough to realise the band sucks, but not smart enough to go and find a forum that isn't full of morons.

This is the typical post in the devianTART music forum. As you can see, the forum posters are highly intelligent, so much so that they don't realise that NO HATERZ!!!1 is pretty much the opposite of a good way to repel flames.

Interestingly enough, there are those who have the inclination to post in the DAMusicForum, despite its usually questionable quality. Currently posting is the all time loather of music, the holier-than-thou Arizonian hipster, the Texan scramz whore, the dirty Irish boy obsessed with Sunny Day Real Estate, the copy-pasta king, the environmentalist nut-job, former Radiohead fanboy, the partysquad fan, the elder resident sake addict, and finally at the top of the forum is the tediously pedantic, possibly sexually stagnant jazz enthusiast.

It's a little-known fact that only certain bands are considered "legal" to discuss in the music forum, and you will be banned if you mention any other band. This is the real reason that all the threads are about Evanescence: they banged one of the admins' mothers in order to get on the approved bands list.
[edit] Pissing people off
It is quite easy to piss people off in the music forum. Simply mention that you don't really think Linkin Park is the best thing since sliced bread, or subtly change the topic to discuss your favourite chocolate bar, and at least 100 people should immediately start cussing you out as if you'd raped the Pope.
Also, posting a dissenting opinion in a thread with anything along the lines of "no haters" in the title is gauranteed to get the thread starter to declare a Jihad against you and send all their fans to flame you.
With summer vacation in full swing for many asshats who are still in grade school and cling to the glory of their wondrously terrible music, trolling has vastly increased in popularity. Various trolls have emerged, including the anti-apartheid activist Steve Biko, a 48 yr old mother of four who is a staunch supporter of John McCain, Marxist political philosopher Antonio Negri, and even Samuel Morse himself! Hence, the music forum of deviantART has grown to be a popular hub for many celebrities of various generations, to express their distaste in the lead of direction taken by the users of the deviantART music forum.
