The Olga Roll is a new meme that has been periodically sprouting up on /b/. The meme works in a manner similar to the Rickroll - a /b/tard posts it in a thread where the video is disguised as something uploaded by jailbait or a camwhore, then unsuspecting /b/tards go to it, and they get rolled. Either that or it is posted in a "you rage, you lose" thread telling people they will be "inhuman" to last the whole thing. Many try, few succeed.

The side effects of this roll are far more severe than those of the Rickroll. Few can survive the epic voice more than 15 seconds.

The Roll

The roll is a clip that is slightly over a minute long, taken from the song "Olga" by the power metal band Epinikion. (more like Epicnikion, amirite?) While the song has no music video, the accompanying image of the band's ginger "singer" (if you can call her that) is often considered terrifying enough. The lyrics of the song are horrible as well, though nowhere near as horrible as the obnoxiously nasal singer's voice.

The Band

Epinikion hails from the Jewkraine (thus explaining the singer's over sized nose). They write lyrics about Ukrainian pride, history, and heritage. "Olga" was supposedly a ballad about a princess mourning her lost lover (the Engrish lyrics are difficult to decipher). Epinikion broke up in January 2009 when they realized that nobody liked them.

Common Reactions to Miss Olga

Most people rage or lulz upon being Olgarolled. Some get incredibly butthurt (assuming the ear is a close relative of the buttocks), and others ejaculate.
