Additional Pylons is a website with lulz that revolve around its somewhat tamer /b/ board (/pylon/) and its chat room, much like the planets in our solar system revolve around the sun and Chris Crocker. There is an obvious Starcraft motif, but not all of the members actually play Starcraft.

Additional Pylons was originally a /b/tard chat room, but it quickly evolved into a gaiafag-free (notrly) place of occasional epic win and Ajax power supplies. Most of the old regulars have been banned from 4chan and rather like it that way. There is much more namefaggotry compared to other *chan sites, due to both the chat room and the small user base.
The only original thing on the site is the color scheme and hand-drawn image of the admin, pylon (see magic).

Theories include:
- james is busy.
- james has Alzheimer's and forgets he's in the chat.
- james is gathering data on the other members, so that one day he will be able to take on their identities.
- james leaves the chat window open all the time so nobody else can get the first slot. (Doesn't work.)
- james is a Snorlax and only awakens when he wants to eat or when someone plays a PokeFlute.

The arcade is where retards can enlarge their e-peens by submitting their high scores in retarded games. The image boards are like most image boards, but slower. The chat room is a place where people talk about their emotional lives and other shit. The word board is there for people to rearrange the letters to make retarded shit. Mostly dicks.

Even though it only has three image boards, it tries to be cool by using the excuse that more will be added as posting rates improve.
- /pylon/ - basically /b/ but much slower. Consists mostly of screenshots of Internet drama, a-kun's Pulitzer-winning responses, screenshots of Spencer's stupid chat room combos, porn comics, retarded shit from the Internet that Rob posts to troll the other members, and Advice Dog.
- /vesPEEN/ - an Oekaki where people who can't draw try to draw dicks everywhere. Lots of dicks.
- /muta/ - flash animations and games. Nothing noteworthy yet.

This is where all the cool people hang out and talk about their awesome lives. Popular topics include gay sex, free food, james being quiet for a long time and suddenly talking, and Spencer wanting to be a mod. The chat is in the process of being replaced by a web IRC chat, which will be shared with 24chan.
