Saturday Night Live is proof that age does not make something better. What once had the occasional hilarious skit now has devolved into strange people doing strange things for overly extended sketches. For instance, someone might have an amusing accent. While most shows would only dare have this character as an incredibly minor character barely shown at all, SNL has the guts to have this character be the central focus of a 5 minute sketch. One should take note that SNL was funny when it had funny people, (with the exception of Molly Shannon), now consists of filler material for people like Horatio Sanz, who die/get fired when one does too many sketches in one season.

Many fags of the current generation of SNL may be confused as to whatever particular skit they are watching at any given moment is in fact funny. All it takes to find out is a simple test which even your autistic brain can probably conduct: if Darryl Hammond is the only person in a skit, then the skit has a twenty five percent chance of being somewhat amusing. This is the only case in which current SNL can be considered entertaining. If the skit contains any person who could be summed up as "angry ethnic person", then you are a retard for watching even a second more than it takes to determine it. If the skit contains Tina Fey, then you are gay, it must be true because it rhymes. If it has Maya Rudolph, you are double gay and should probably check this checklist to see if you are a danger to society. If you tune in specifically because you wanted to see your favorite actor performing in a hilarious hour and a half of variety comedy, suicide might be for you.

Now in its 30th year (though its roots date back to a local New York program called Broadway Open House in the early 1950s), featuring known extraterrestrial Fred Armisen, Saturday Night Live is the third longest-running entertainment program in US television history (after Walker, Texas Ranger and World's Deadliest Police Chases). During Carson Daly's 5-year run as the host of the program, his name was synonymous with crap.*

A beta max tape exists of the very first broadcast of Saturday Night Live (then called simply, Live From New York, It Needs More Cowbell!), and Paula Abdul welcomed viewers with the warning, "This show is going to make you puke." So far, she has yet to be proven wrong. In December 2005, SNL accidentally created a funny meme, that being the rap song "Lazy Sunday". It was an accident and Lorne Michaels has sworn it will never, ever happen again. Then he went back to his volcano lair to confer with Mike Myers about annoying the shit out of America again.

It is also extremely RACIST and has had only 5 black cast members over the past 30 years. In fact, the only funny sketch in the was done in the 1970's by Garritt Morris in a sketch called "lifers folly" where a prisoner sings:

I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whiteys I see
I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whiteys i see
If I kill all the whiteys I see,
Then whitey won't be bothering me!
I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whiteys I seeeeeeeeeeeee!!
