  • I bet to differ. The article sucks NOW, yes, but the images are pretty goddamn spot-on. Fatlus is a pretty spot-on description for the fans. It's also one of the funnier memes to come from /v/. I haven't bothered to tag it because with a little bit of work, it can easily be a good article since the source material is easy to work with. Atlus publishes primarily JRPGS: go google images of Disgaea, or better yet, check out the cover art for Magna Carta. I personally know people who bought this shit and can confirm the fat factor. As a Persona fan, I can confirm that there are many SMT fans who fit that stereotype. But it's just like any other game in that regard. Become completely addicted, life revolves purely around it till they become homeless. But those people totally miss the message of this game, which is that real life isn't that bad after all.
