That quote from the BCOer is teh lulz. I hope they behave themselves. --33mhz 12:14, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

  • They are more than welcome to contact me and talk about it. Although, their continuous interaction indicates that they are IN FACT part of internet drama. I found that guy's note to be rather civil though, just lots of cursing. --girlvinyl 12:16, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)
    • hay i think it's time to protect this page ^_^ but it's kinda amusing watching people try to hide their OMG SEKKKRET MESSAGE BOARD OMG!!! IT'S SO SECRET, I'M SO HIP I AM PART OF A SEKKKRET MESSAGE BOARD -Jameth 12:46, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)
    • actually don't protect it; just let these folks edit it. there might be some good edits. we can just revert back. also how does one easily revert back? i just end up cutting-and-pasting. -Jameth 12:48, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)
      • click on the history tab, then choose two different versions to compare by clicking the radio buttons. Then at the top it will say 'rollback' and if you do that you rollback to the version that is under the rollback button. Also, I put a protected entry at crewcial for backup and am leaving the BCO entry editable. LOVE AND KISSES. --girlvinyl 12:51, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)
        • um i don't see a ROLLBACK button, seriously i looked. do i have to have certain privs? -Jameth 12:54, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)
          • I am going to lunch, HA HA. I will check on it when I get back. I am going to ban some IPs.
  • oh hay i protected it, i got bored of their edits. let the BCO kiddies make other pages or 'vandalize' something else, perhaps andrewpants. lol -Jameth 13:31, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

PEOPLE FROM BCO: This is an internet humor and satire site cataloging things in internet culture that bring us joy. If you vandalize the entry it shows that you take THINGS ON THE INTERNET seriously. So stop it, go out and get some IRL. Thx, --girlvinyl 12:43, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

  • FAAARRRTTT

Manglement

    • That's awesome cause now we have your IP and your aim name. god. Idiot. PLEASE LEARN HOW TO USE THE INTERNETS BEFORE LOGGING ON, THX.

--girlvinyl 10:24, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

== yeah guess what dummy - that's not my aim name OR my IP. joke's on you! -walter ==

  • hah, you're the guy who switched the names to read DIVERDOWN and OCTOPUS SNATCH, and then later dereeted the whole text? Jesus christ, get a hobby. --33mhz 14:03, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

Since when did we have to maintain neuterality? --jb. 00:54, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

  • it was a JOKE. a play off of what Wikipedia does for 'disputed' articles. i did it. (jameth @ school)

I dunno. Maybe that was written by a BCO'er while the page was unprotected? Wikipedia prides itself on maintaining a NPOV: Neutral Point of View. I wouldn't mind being dedicated to NPOV on ED, as long as the N stands for Negative or Nihilistic. --33mhz 01:01, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

I am a negative nihilist, so I approve of both. maybe i'm just a nihilist in writing. --jb. 01:08, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

I believe jameth added the protection and Neutrality thingie. Basically they were coming in here and defacing the page by leaving their comments on the article instead of in the 'talk' page. I think his main reason for doing that was to direct them here with disputes instead of making them want to bitch in the article itself. It will be unprotected and restored later today. --67.134.44.81 08:24, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

  • restore what? it's fine the way it is. (jameth at school)

the picture of andrew was there for a reason; he is a 'typical BCO user' and represents that crowd much moreso than the 'emo dude'

    • Ok, that is cool. I just really like the emo dude pic, it's so cute. I'm going to unprotect it for the time and see if it gets defaced again. Edit at all. --girlvinyl 10:24, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

Gah, directly linking to other sites' images is rude. Use Image:Stop_hand.png and Image:Friends_only.gif. If this will come up frequently, I can create templates for this. -- Taral 10:18, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

  • so? -Jameth 10:19, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)
    • There's funny, and there's rude. Anyway, do we still need Crewcial now that this page is locked down? -- Taral 11:01, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)
      • are you also going to tell me that it's stealing bandwidth? because that would be really amusing considering the lack of hits on this site and the size of the image, etc. -Jameth 12:29, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)
        • The Internet Is Serious Business. Also, WHAT? Doesn't the wiki install come with the little stopsign graphics by default? --33mhz 13:32, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)
        • Image leeching is shitty, and will getchoo pain'ed if the target site is on top of things, so don't do it. --packetgrinder 11:01, 18 Dec 2004 (PST)
          • Image leeching is shitty, but downloading mp3s or movies isn't? Who cares? Imeyer 02:12, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Sorry BCO users are such dicks! Imeyer 00:03, 15 Aug 2005 (UTC)
