ignoranceandwant: believe me, i dont take your comment as an insult...you might or might not have seen some real insults in response to my recent posts

ignoranceandwant: kind of makes me wonder what kind of person reads such a missive and then decides to post a comment mocking their situation

ignoranceandwant: yeah, i dont take it as hard as i have in the past, but that is also because most of the comments i got were pretty nice

ignoranceandwant: true...but isnt it kinda fascinating to see how people behave in a relatively consequence-free environment?

ignoranceandwant: what's really interesting is that 1) the rude people aren't always the predictable types, i.e. teenage boys, and 2) some of them really take some time and effort to mock you. apparently, an entry was created for me on some bizarre website that's apparently for...well, people who like to mock journal entries

ignoranceandwant: i dont know...if i read posts like mine and was disgusted, figuring the writer was just some whiny pussy, my reaction would be to not bother responding, much less read on

ignoranceandwant: yeah, i referred to it in posts, tho i dont respond individually now

ignoranceandwant: i'd rather just delete the remarks. i dont really want to go back and see them later, especially the large entries where they take, say, one sentence and repeat it in huge font

ignoranceandwant: i'm not totally surprised, but still iit's interesting to see people who read someone in real pain and figure the response is to encourage them to kill themselves

ignoranceandwant: i cant take it too seriously...when a stranger writes sometihng like "Go ahead and kill yourself....everyone hates you anyway. Your life is meaningless", it's pretty obvious that they're trying to be "Shocking"

ignoranceandwant: they're the same who, say, post a scene from Triumph of the Will on YouTube and then say something about how Hitler was right, too bad he didnt get to finish the job, etc.

ignoranceandwant: the same who go into a chat room and start harassing people because they know everyone will respond

anime_humanized_pedobear: They take both sides of the issue, whatever's funnier

ignoranceandwant: ii used to say that i could get anyone in a chat to talk to me. i just had to write something simplistic like "niggers stink" or "i love raping eight-year-olds and i live two blocks from an elementary school"

ignoranceandwant: and most people dont seem to understand that the people doing it jsut want a reaction

ignoranceandwant: reminds me of the time i saw some movie featuring a battered wife and i said flippantly, "Eh, she was probably asking for it". nobody really got the joke

ignoranceandwant: i dont think i'm going to kill myself. looking back over my posts, i was kind of surprised how vitriolic some of them were. many were written when i was drunk

ignoranceandwant: the funny thing is, most of it comes from social isolation

ignoranceandwant: it's something to do at night when you dont have someone over to talk to....and i dont necessarily mean "talk to" as in "listen to my problems"

ignoranceandwant: i wouldnt think my interests would be so off the wall as to mean i couldnt find any other like minded types, but most people, it seems are preetty damned boring...

ignoranceandwant: i guess their chief interests are either televised sports or sitcoms or something

ignoranceandwant: ah...the type who get their frustrations out on a violent game, etc.

ignoranceandwant: nah, i never got much into games, partially because i'm terrible at them. i never even won Super Mario Bros.

anime_humanized_pedobear: Or calm their mind with a simple puzle game

ignoranceandwant: last game i really enjoyed was Vice City....tho i used to like Tetris a lot

ignoranceandwant: i'm primarily into music and movies...thing is, that doesnt mean i listen to whatever's currently popular or just go to see shit like, say, Rush Hour 3

ignoranceandwant: i like expanding my tastes...often searching out things from the past

ignoranceandwant: i guess my feelings re. my looks probably weird some people out. it would almost be easier if i were gay, to be honest

ignoranceandwant: well, most guys dont hate being 6'3" and broad shouldered....and most guys don't care if they lose their hair since society has given them "permission" to do so via it being a fashionable thing now...that is, if you want to look like some thicknecked tough guy type

ignoranceandwant: if i were gay, people might understand it in a simplistic way, since most people like to see thigns as stereotypes, i.e. the effeminate limpwristed gay man, etc.

ignoranceandwant: or the idea that gay men all want to be female lol

ignoranceandwant: i dont really have much respect for the idea that men "should" be big and strong and protective, and it bugs me that every girl i ever dated saw me that way

ignoranceandwant: it's kinda like if you're big, you're expected to take on the stereotype

ignoranceandwant: perhaps if i wore a feather boa and started referring to everyone as "girlfriend", maybe that would cease. i dont know...think it's worth a try?

anime_humanized_pedobear: Might as well. Do what you feel, and don't care what anyone else says, otherwise

ignoranceandwant: i was joking re. the stereotypically fem. behavior. i'm not that bad

ignoranceandwant: it just sucks when you're given an image and you cant avoid it

ignoranceandwant: i liken it to being a fat person who cannot lose weight....it may not be fair, but a lot of epople are still going to see you as lazy, gross, etc.

ignoranceandwant: fat can be lost...but how do you lose height and build?

anime_humanized_pedobear: What they always say. Put your mind to it, or....never give up? something like that

ignoranceandwant: right. if my resolve is strong enough, i can find a way to shrink my height and alter my skeletal structure

ignoranceandwant: i'm just saying, it sucks when you cant change something and you refuse to "learn to love it" because that's not how you really feel
