Instead of linking, please screencap or quote the drama... exhibits often delete fucking everything once they discover their ED article, which makes the links useless... --Spacey 12:19, 12 March 2008 (CDT)

  • Screencapping and replacing links with them will commence immediately, thanks for the advice! --Infocides 12:59, 12 March 2008 (CDT)
    • Having noticed the section about keeping articles in one's own userspace until it's finished, could a sysop move it to mine for further work?

I'll revert the few other links I've made in other articles to it, until I'm done with the article itself.

    • Sorry for being a noob! --Infocides 12:59, 12 March 2008 (CDT)
  • For an article like this that already has good content, don't worry about it. It's only articles that are a complete fucking mess and need major work which need to be in a userspace. Just keep working on it, it looks promising. Also, sign your talk page posts with four tildes (~) --Spacey 12:53, 12 March 2008 (CDT)
    • Thanks, I appreciate it. For a first wiki-anything article ever, I'm glad I'm not doing horribly! I'm going through the help files as I progress, so this should only improve as I edit through it. --Infocides 12:59, 12 March 2008 (CDT)

[edit] Screenshots..

I have lots of screenshots of his journal entries. What's a good way to present them, since they're mostly threaded and there's a *lot* of lulz in them to laugh at? Would uploading them and then linking them on the page in a references section at the bottom be proper, or is there another page I could use as an example for how to link lots of captured forum posts and pictures properly? --Infocides 14:05, 12 March 2008 (CDT)

  • Upload them first for now, and list them here if you want. I'd reckon that putting a gallery at the bottom of the article would be alright for most of them, and we can put the funniest ones in thumbnails on their own. (If in doubt, look at how screenshots are used in other articles.) --DirtyOldTown 07:58, 13 March 2008 (CDT)
  • I hope it's alright I hosted the screencaps on bayimg.com and linked them here. Many were way over the size limit, so I thought this would be better. --Infocides 19:26, 16 March 2008 (CDT)

Can someone grab a screenshot of his journal entry from today :) It's not his usual lulz, but it does add to existing lulz about his warped sense of law, legality, and his "demand for respect" ...

From the sociopath page: "Remember, if you get an irl sociopath really pissed with you, you win the internets." I think we all win the internets with this guy --Smash 05:03, 19 March 2008 (CDT)

  • Done, and updated the article already! --Infocides 18:52, 19 March 2008 (CDT)

[edit] LULZ! I think this page has been discovered!!!

Check out Rex's post today! He's either deleted, or marked all the posts we have screen shots of here, and he has a post today stating he's going "friends only" Just a matter of time before he gets an account here and tries to refute, or delete the stuff he has said an done. Never fear, it's all in Wiki revision histories. Good job, Infocides! --Smash 15:53, 21 March 2008 (CDT)

His FA stuff is gone now, too! --Smash 15:55, 21 March 2008 (CDT)

That's the reason behind screenshots. :) Thanks, Spacey, for the advice earlier. Capping all his posts was a lot of work, but it's worth it now! --Infocides 08:09, 22 March 2008 (CDT)

[edit] He's back!

Check out his LJ again. he's back to naming names, and posting stuff designed to antagonize again... All of it worthy of screencaps... He'll never learn. he calls us all "bullies" but for someone who hates hypocrites, he sure is a hypocrite. Just look at the screencaps of all of the posts he deleted, or hid from public view (That all were once public)... Now, who is the bully? --Smash 21:18, 28 March 2008 (CDT)

WTF?

Okay, is it possible to get the article reinstated without supposed "copyright material"?

  • Rex has no copyright claim to most, if any, of the pictures previously shown on this page. (Perhaps the picture of him rolling the mud? I doubt it.) The vast majority of the written text on the page was contributed by ED members and Rex obviously has no claim over this text. Further, the text of the article contains fair-use public quotations which Rex has no claim over. Regarding claims of libel, the truth and opinion are both valid defenses under the law. This article is clearly composed of facts about and quotes from Rex followed by opinionated texts. This is simply a lame attempt to DeleteFuckingEverything by abusing the DMCA (and subsequently breaking the law by doing so). - Blueben 03:58, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

[edit] LULz

All the isgreat sites are not responding, so I guess he's still tossing about DMCA threats. --Smash 20:42, 10 April 2008 (CDT)

  • which is why I mirrored elsewhere on other servers! FOR GREAT JUSTICE! Infocides 08:27, 11 April 2008 (CDT)

[edit] Moar DMCA plz!

Rex is just a DMCA complaint generating machine! He managed to get http://www.seattlefenix.net/ffnw/lawsuit.html pulled down, but something plenty interesting went up in its place. Too bad a counter-claim is being sent out to restore the original link. Of course, if someone was interested, I might have a cached copy of the Rex's solicitations for e-lawyers... --Blueben 19:32, 11 April 2008 (CDT)

  • Gee golly, it sure does look something like that! --Blueben 22:09, 13 April 2008 (CDT)

[edit] Infocides

Rex finally managed to get my primary journal deleted. I'm surprised it took this long!

But I planned for it, and now he doesn't know where to watch to keep an eye on me. Expect a surprise about the time this article is restored, and watch this space for updates! Infocides 00:31, 19 April 2008 (CDT)

- It's been about 10 days since his complaint took this page down. He had 10 days to respond to the DMCA counter. Did he? Or will the page be back up sometime this weekend? --Smash 18:55, 18 April 2008 (CDT)
  • I've received no legal papers from Mr. Wolf at this time. He has not pursued a criminal or civil damages case against me to my knowledge. The article should be restored as per the counter-DMCA notice. Infocides 00:31, 19 April 2008 (CDT)
