This is actually pretty funny and a nice first effort. It could use some Internet/drama relevance to try to keep closer to this wiki's central purpose, and it needs a category, but otherwise it's a lot more subtle than most of the crap that passes for humour around here these days. Another option would be to merge it with Australia, but I'd imagine there is plenty of Internet-available CityRail angst if they're even nearly as bad as you let on.--Buffy the Apostrophe Slayer (talk) 12:03, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)

I'm from Sydney too, also I was late to work today, thanks Cityrail! Brise 13:22, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)

I don't care if people in Sydney are late to work. They deserve it for living in a city as crappy as Sydney. I suggest you move to Melbourne or Brisbane, or maybe to some country town where you can walk to work or at least find parking. If you like living in Sydney and it's just a matter of not wanting to be late to work, LEAVE HOME EARLIER, 'TARD. Why are you whining about public transport, anyway? You're lucky to have it. Try Los Angeles for comparison. Finally, this article currently has zero relevance. --Jacknstock 15:04, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)

HI. I'm from Sweden, we also have city rails/subs that never is on time. But it's still not fucking funny for people to read about "Stockholms Länstrafik". Maybe someone should change this article to something more general about city rails world wide. --Mr Grieves 15:06, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)

  • There is some drama potentials for the subject city rails/subs. Rape, death and suicide is pretty regular stuff. --Mr Grieves 15:08, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
    • But we want Internets drama here. If we wanted IRL drama, we'd watch the local news. --Jacknstock 15:10, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
      • I'm sure some asshole on LJ or ED has died, taken his/her life or been raped on the sub/city rail. --Mr Grieves 15:17, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
      • I agree. CityRail is not a meme, and as far as I'm aware nobody on the Internets (besides the author) gives a shit about them. --Bastardman 15:24, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
        • So, despite Buffy joy of reading this article while thinking about trains traveling through tunnels as she masturbates (ech, it makes me sick), we seriously consider BALETION!!!!!!!1111111!!Jacknstock!@ --Jacknstock 16:32, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
          • Are trains in general really going to be more relevant to internet humour than a specific group of trains? Brise 16:38, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
            • Only that there is more Internets angst about traveling by trains in general than about travelling by a specific group of trains. Whiny bastards. Get out and walk. --Jacknstock 16:58, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
              • Well I was expecting this to be a dull and particularly unfunny article, that'll learn me for doubting. If you want some examples of train whining http://fishbowl.pastiche.org/2003/01/29/dear_cityrail or www.suf.lyon5.free.fr/PHOTOS/Clan/Rails.jpg. Brise 17:11, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                • Those could be lol. You know it's perfectly fine to edit the article yourself, right? :p Be sure and upload that image, though, if you're gonna use it. --Bastardman 17:12, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                  • And I would if I wasn't seriously lacking in the lols department. If not even I find myself funny its probably a bad sign. Brise 17:15, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                    • I'll do something with that pic. --Mr Grieves 17:17, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                      • This is getting better and better :) Serious fatty train driver kills 6 and self, http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/05/13/1052591787430.html and whats more google has plenty of destruction pictures... I just like the fact in this story multiple people die due to one mans obesity. Brise 17:28, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                        • Abit better structure. I think if we did away with the Sydney article this might actually have the potential to become something funny. --Mr Grieves 17:48, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                          • Agreed, maybe remove all references to Sydney, Australia and Cityrail, and keep the rest. I wouldn't mind seeing mention of Mussolini, therefore fascism and therefore the very trains that took people to concentration camps in WWII. This could possibley be used to prove trains are evil? nhs.needham.k12.ma.us/cur/wwII/%20WWII-p5-final/jsb_wwII_p5/auschwitz.jpg or would this be image overload? Brise 17:56, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                            • I think that worked pretty well. I think it's now more of a stub than crap. --Mr Grieves 18:26, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                              • If I knew how to, I would do it myself, however, maybe the word trap could link to Admiral Ackbar? Apart from that im in love with this article, its totally watchlisted. Brise 18:33, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                              • Nah, it's still crap. Stop patting yourself on the back. This wiki is about lulz and drama on the Internets, and this article fails on that count. The article should be primarily about the Internets drama, not the IRL rail systems themselves. --Jacknstock 22:51, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                                • This isn't even non-Internets-funny. Vote for baletion. --Bastardman 22:55, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
                                  • The countdown begins... three hours to go.... --Jacknstock 22:57, 19 Feb 2006 (UTC)
