Gob-Shitery - an English expression relating to empty rhetoric, the use of big and or/obscene words for no other purpose that to draw attention to oneself.
The Gob Shite is easy to to find. At a party he is the loud, unfunny and uninteresting person that people are walking away from. The Gob shites favorite facial expression is the arrogant sneer, usually fronting total ignorance on the subject being discussed. Gob Shites know that they are the most sophisitcated and articulate person in any crowd, and pity and despise anybody who holds an opinion divergent to their own. They love themselves and, as a result, spend a lot of time loving themselves. They are great at this self love, which is fortunate.
They also have no understanding of irony, satire, sarcasm or humour.
