This is pretty funny, and yet I'm wondering why this isn't merged with Microsoft Windows (even though that article is crap) -- Fire trucks
I don't know if it is worth mentioning, but according to this ars technica article: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080411-vistas-uac-security-prompt-was-designed-to-annoy-you.html A lead designed in MS explained that UAC is designed solely to annoy users. The idea is that if they annoy users whenever the program evelates privilages (which is dumb and unnecessary and just shoddy programming), then they will complain, and program writes will stop doing it. Microsoft and Windows need to be seperated, and much moar lulz could be attained this way. The Windows Facts Category doesn't even give me a stiffy it has so little lulz.
