• Usually, it does. If you have problems with the template rejecting your variables, try an alternate syntax: {{Quote|1=Quote Text|2=Person|3=Cited source|color=silver|size=360%}}. It's not nearly as neat that way, but it does the job. The template parser probably got confused by the pipe in [[User:Mori|Mori]]. --Blu Aardvark 18:55, 30 November 2007 (CST)

I changed the comma between quotee and source to a hyphen, because 99% of the articles that use quote don't have a source, so it looks like "-JewLover444, " which is gay. This way, it still works if there's a source, and if not, it looks kawaii. --Ntg85 15:51, 2 December 2007 (CST)

      • I reversed the templates. {{quote}} now has no comma, or the cite after it. {{quote2}} (shortcut {{q2}}) has the cite. There will undoubtedly be some things needing cleanup, quotes with cites needing to be renamed to the new template, but this will work fine on it's own without breaking existing quotes, so... --18:19, 2 December 2007 (CST)
