You know that kid back in middle school who really liked trains and stayed in his science class during lunchtime? The one who had no friends and smelled like stale popcorn? Yeah? Well, he grew up to be a transhumanist. Also, this description is likely to encompass whoever is spendin his time reading the dramatica. Sorry pal, you had to be told.
Transhumanists are people whose goal in life is to make themselves into robots, genetically engineer themselves, clone people, and in general want to beat God at his own game. These are the kind of people who read Brave New World in high school and thought, "Man, I WISH life was this sweet!".
It is also a well-known fact that many transhumanists have a hard-on for machines, and enjoy masturbating to Transformers porn. Humans, being so inferior, can no longer sexually arouse them. Only the cold hard steel of a robot cock can make them cum.
One of the more alarming aspects of transhumanists is their support for designer babies. Designer babies are basically babies who are genetically engineered to have whatever characteristics their parents want them to. Want super strength? Super intelligence? Both? Blue eyes? Blonde hair? You can have it all with designer babies!
Of course, what transhumanists fail to realize is that once designer babies are made a reality, those who refuse to genetically modify their own kids will continually fall behind the curve in school and in the job market as genetically altered ubermensch occupy all the top jobs positions and get all the good grades while regular people struggle to keep up.
And guess what? This technology will cost a pretty penny, too. And those who can't afford it will be even more disadvantaged than before. Ever see Gattaca? No? Neither have transhumanists.
But none of these arguments deter transhumanists. So what makes these people want to rush headlong into a apocalyptic dystopia? Simple. They hate their own bodies. They view their human appearance as disgusting and ugly, and wish to make everyone into beautiful, shiny robots or genetic ubermensch so nobody will be able to call them "zitface" or "fatty" ever again. They want to start the apocalypse because of their own failings in life. Transhumanists are, at their core, complete fucking losers. On the other hand, the chance of preventing the birth of human cases such as this, this or this is worth alone giving transhumanism a try. Hell, it´s even worth giving apocalypse a try!
