Ass is one of the most prized and versatile words in the American language, possessing a whole host of meanings:
- A person's buttocks; a gathering of fat and muscle (mostly fat) upon which people sit.
- An "ass" is a type of hoofed mule that is notably lazy and stubborn, related to donkeys and horses. These are most commonly referred to as "those damn Frenchies."
