| This project is pretty much retired at this point. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I found Adventure Game Studio recently, so I'm thinking of doing a game with that instead, as AGS pwns the shit out of RPGXP. Except it won't be an RPG this way. And I'll have to master the program's more advanced scripting functions. I'll keep you posted on any updates. In the meantime, the incomplete version is on Rapidshit. You are free to pick it up and do whatever you want with it, really. Just so long as you credit me as a co-producer or someshit. --Blu Aardvark 21:00, 30 November 2007 (CST) |

Can you stop MONGO from doing WTC? Can you save Jewbo Wales from the Wikipedia Internet Court? Can you avoid getting banned and conquer the internets?
[edit] Characters
Playable characters currently include Pepper, Mudkip, Blu Aardvark, Limecat, Shadow42, and Jewbo Wales. Except that Jewbo, Shadow42, and Limecat have not been added to the storyline yet.
[edit] Class Advancement and Forking
Certain characters will be able to advance their initial character classes to learn additional skills. There are more than one choice for class advancements, though, so you will get to experiment with different skillsets and abilities.
Writer class (Pepper)
- Pure: Writer --> Editor --> ED Sysop
- Pure: Writer --> Grammar Nazi --> Grammar Gestapo
- Impure: Writer --> Either --> Miltopia
Closet Furry class (Blu Aardvark)
- Pure: Closet Furry --> Furfag --> Taurin Fox
- Pure: Closet Furry --> Troll --> Attorney-at-lol
- Impure: Closet Furry --> Either --> Gay Nigger
Fruity Cat class (Limecat)
- Pure: Fruity Cat --> Trashcat --> Mooncat
- Pure: Fruity Cat --> Anonymous --> /b/tard
- Impure: Fruity Cat --> Either --> /i/diot
[edit] Skillsets
All of the playable characters who have classes that can fork can learn a total of 4 unique skills. Other generic skills will also be available for learning, but with some limitations. (Each character will only be able to learn a set amount of low, medium, and high level skills, with some degree of variance between characters)
Pepper
- L1 Graphite Stab (Sucky-ass move that can inflict poison on an enemy)
- L2 Grouphug (Variable attack that increases in power with the number of grouphugs available in one's inventory)
Editor/Grammar Nazi
- L3 Grouphug II (Stronger Grouphug.)
Ed Sysop
- L4 Ræpe (Instantly dispatches a single enemy with a high success rate)
Grammar Gestapo
- L4 Spellcheck (Deals high-level damage to all enemies)
Miltopia
- L4 {{baleetplz}} (Instantly dispatches a single enemy with a medium success rate)
Blu Aardvark
- L1 Yiff (Violates a single enemy)
- L2 Ungodly Proboscis (Steals enemy HP)
Furfag/Troll
- L3 Dunnage (Violates all enemies)
Taurin Fox
- L4 Yiffing Machine (Violates all enemies and inflicts status changes)
Attorney-at-lol
- L4 Bantown (Welcomes enemies to Bantown)
Gay Nigger
- L4 Chocolate Rain (Shower on all enemies. Inflicts random status)
Limecat
- L1 Dog purchase (Boosts the defense of a single party member)
- L2 Steroids (Boosts the attack of a single party member)
Trashcat/Anonymous
- L3 Caturday (Flood of cats. Damages all enemies)
Mooncat
- L4 Moontrip (Increases evade for all allies)
/b/tard
- L4 Internet Hate Machine (Damages all enemies and inflicts status changes)
/i/diot
- L4 POOLS CLOSED (Damages all enemies)
Mudkip
- L1 Water Gun (low level water elemental attack)
- L2 Water Bomb (medium level water elemental attack)
(Mudkip can learn more generic high-level skills than any other party member)
Shadow42 (DCC SEND IWANTTOKILLALLOFTHEJEWS 0 0 0)
- L1 Shake & Bake (Damages a single enemy)
- L2 Holocaust (Damages all enemies)
(Shadow42 can learn more generic mid-level skills than any other party member)
Jewbo Wales
- L1 Edit (Shuffles the HP of a single enemy)
- L2 Rollback (Restores 50% HP to all allies and enemies)
- L3 Protect (Prevents a single enemy from attacking)
- L4 Delete (Dispatches a single enemy with a high success rate)
(Jewbo Wales can learn more generic low-level skills than any other party member, but by the time you get him, this might not be a significant advantage. However, he will have some pretty neat unique skills.)
The generic skills are largely your typical boring RPG fodder - fire, ice, lightning, cure, shit like that, with a few additions and changes.
[edit] Grouphugs
A number of grouphug items are hidden throughout the game. These items are used for some of Pepper's skills, but also for the lulz. When you find one hidden, you will be able to read a certain grouphug message. Some of the ones I have added are below. Any further suggestion are welcome.
- 453869350 I plan to be a psychiatrist when I am older. I think I am attracted to men who have particular mental issues.
- 620271469 I put my penis in a Goldfish's bowl once.
- 316905244 I am ugly, I am overweight, I am 18, and I have acne. I am never going to get a boyfriend. I had my first kiss last night from a guy... but he's gay. Go. Me.
- 406305405 i miss sucking your dick.
[edit] How You can help
I admit that I suck at graphics work. For most parts of the game, the default tilesets and charactersets that come with RPG Maker work just fine, but there are some things where they just don't cut it for. Mudkip, limecat, Blu Aardvark the closet furry, those kinda things. If you can draw game sprites for RPG Maker XP (meeting this format), and would like to assist with this, please send me an email or something. Thankee muchly.
Also... I could do with some suggestions for skillz and weapons/armor. I'm currently drawing a bit of a blank when it comes to designing the equipment system, and I'm fresh out of ideas for abilities.
[edit] Specifically
For the current game elements, I need:
Mudkip sprite/battler - For Mudkip- Pirate sprite - For the priest at the Temple of the Holy Sauce (FSM reference)
Goofy sprite - It's goofy time- Tube sprite - The crystals in the game are really a series of tubes, but the current graphic was the best one in the RTP set. Basically, I need mario-style pipes with a similar coloration and animation, although rotating would also
be acceptable
- Furry sprite/battler- For the closet furry and his perverted classes.
- Limecat sprite/battler
- Troll sprite/battler - Actually, i can probably find these on the internets, but suggestions are welcomed.
- Nigra sprite - There is a pool, and it is closed. Sprite of a black dude in a dark suit with a big afro. --Blu Aardvark 16:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Moar ideas - I need ideas for fleshing out the
skillsetsand equipment sets, mainly. --Blu Aardvark 13:27, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Releases
I finally finished a pre-alpha release demo of the game. Estimated play time: currently 30 to 45 minutes. Random encounters have not been enabled yet, nor have I even bothered to configure and balance the battles, equipment, and skill sets. I'll get there, but it wasn't a priority just yet. Quite a few chests are conspicuously unimplemented - I'll get to them eventually, when I balance out the rest of it.
I'm not planning on doing any further work on the project anytime soon. Anyone is free to pick up the reins and continue development; the game is currently available on Rapidshit.
You might have to install either RPG Maker XP or the RTP pack in order to play this.
[edit] Current progress
I have now replaced the default title screen with a moar ED-themed title screen, and swapped the title music with... something else. In addition, I've added a bit of an opening scene, instead of dumping the character right into the game without some sort of lead-in. It's not much, but it's better and slightly more intuitive. I've also reworked a few of the screens which didn't look or work quite right, and fixed a few minor glitches involving variables that I somehow missed.
I have also made some decisions regarding skillsets (which I now consider "complete"), although I haven't yet added them into the game or balanced them sufficiently.
