The minor player and wiki-novice known as Commander Cody finds it easy to maintain an air of mystery, as few really care who he is. All he has to do is lurk or find something else to do for a few months, then start up with the odd edit here and there again.

What is known is that he has fannish leanings, both from his choice of handle and his two strongest works on ED, his entries on Cylons and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

If Commander Cody has a weakness, it is that he tends towards the NPOV, though with the controversial topics that are ED's raison d'etre, he often does so in a subtle "all sides are idiots, and I'm not much better for writing this" fashion. Some think he might be Dennis Miller due to this.

It has also been speculated that Commander Cody is an agent of the Sith Lord Darth Krayt (soon to get an article on ED!). But again, such theories must be taken into perspective.
