Believe it or not, Encyclopedia Dramatica user Freshprinceofbel-air is THE Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will Smith.
[edit] Early Life in Philadelphia
Freshprinceofbel-air, henceforth known as Will (Full name Willard Christopher Smith, Jr.), was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was of African American descent, and therefore was haggled by the Police daily. One day, when he was just "chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool" and playing basketball with his best friend Jeffery "Jazzy Jeff" Townes and some other of his friends, a couple of tough thugs "who were up to no good" started giving Will some trouble. This scared Will's mother, and so he was forced to move to the town of Bel-Air, California.

When Will heard of the news, he immediately rejected, but Will respected his mother, so he begrudgingly hopped on a plane to California and put his Walkman on. Since he was given a ticket by his rather wealthy relatives, Will was placed in First Class. He thought that things like drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass weren't his style, but he thought that if things were like that in Bel-Air, his stay might be alright. However, he soon had second doubts as he listened to the people on the plane talking. If there were people like that in Bel-Air, Will thought that he wouldn't be able to fit in. When he got off the plane, Will saw a chauffeur that was holding a sign with his name on it. He mistook the chauffeur for a policeman, and due to his native Philadelphia roots, he ran away as fast as he could. Will whistled for a taxi, and when it came closer he noticed that the license plate said "FRESH" and it had fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror. (The word "Fresh" on the license plate was the inspiration for his nickname, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." He named himself a prince because of his big ego and added the name of the town he was living at to the end.) Although it was a long ride from the airport to the house he was to live at in Bel-Air, he arrived at the mansion about 7 or 8 pm. He yelled to the taxi driver, "Yo homes, smell ya later!" as he exited the taxi. Will Smith was finally at his new home in California.

Will was amazed at the size of his house. It was a mansion in a very rich neighborhood, and it was very different from the apartment he had in Philadelphia. He immediately clashed with his uncle Phillip, nicknamed "Uncle Phil." He also had a very preppy but short cousin named Carlton. In addition to these two relatives, he also had a cool aunt named Vivian ("Aunt Viv"), a ditzy cousin named Hilary, and a very young but spunky cousin named Ashley.
