If you've tried to register a domain name lately, you may have noticed the prevalence of a once-small company called GoDaddy. GoDaddy owes its success more to bargain-basement prices and clever marketing that its web site, which consists almost entirely of blinky shit. Unfortunately for GoDaddy, many internet veterans instinctively interpret blinky shit as a portent of certain doom and customer woe. Allergic to GoDaddy but unwilling to pay for service that was actually better, they turned to RegisterFly.

RegisterFly offered web site hosting and domain registration at relatively low prices through a web site that had a hip, but businesslike, appearance. Comforted by the decided lack of blinky shit on RegisterFly's web site, customers signed up by the truckload and smugly waited for GoDaddy to tank like the internet Titanic it obviously was. Little did these self-righteous fuckwits know that RegisterFly was run by two gay lovers from New Jersey who were about to fuck each and every one of their customers in the ass.

Founded in 2000 by John Naruszewicz and Kevin Medina, RegisterFly was initially a reseller of other domain registration services. Almost from the beginning came reviews from vehemently angry customers alleging that their domains had been stolen (allowed to lapse and then held hostage or bought by squatters) despite proper and timely payment. These reviews were few and far between, however, so it was easy for most customers to disregard the angry
