[edit] Prologue

Heres some pointers and ideas to keep in mind when writing about an article about your favourite Anime. Keep in mind this method can also be adopted for any other type of TV shows or even those video games you young kids keep on playing, with your Pacman and Mario...Seriously dont get off subject like that either. And not every damn Anime involves Nazis. For some quick examples of decent Anime articles see Azumanga Daioh, Digimon, Pokemon and Yugioh.

[edit] Templates

Throw one or two here, alerting any reader about possible spoilers and that they shouldnt read on if they dont want the anime to be spoiled for them. See also Snape kills Dumbledoor. Example:

[edit] Quick Introduction

Write a quick intro, so that the reader will understand what anime show your talking about. It’s hard to get lost amongst all the robots, monsters and badly drawn big breasted anime girls. Add a few one liners as well, about how ironic the anime is, or any potential lulz you’re hinting at later.

[edit] TL;DR

Now get into the story here. Just go on, and on and on and on and on and on. Though make sure its funny and the word to joke ratio is ok is in check. And avoid the over kill of [[memes. Feel free to talk about the characters, story, and themes, though again in a tone of Encyclopedia Dramatica and not Uncyclopedia.

[edit] Relation to the Internet

So what if the anime is funny? Does it have any relation to the online community; such is the purpose of Encyclopedia Dramatica, to document the world online? If not then, expect a speedy deletion after a small wikiwar. If the anime written about does have some relation to the online world, then write about it and document it. Leave no related meme unturned, no copypasta reposted, no fangirl becoming a an hero in an online blog about the ending, untouched.

[edit] Rating

Give the anime show a quick rating. Usually something like:

  • Action:
  • Lulz:
  • Furry Level:
  • Gay Level:
  • Merchandising:
  • Morals:

[edit] Gallery

Throw all memes, and Rule 34 here...

[edit] External Links

Add some external links here, any forums worth trolling, and funny artciles referenced etc.

[edit] Epilogue

After all thats been done, slap an Anime template and add it to the series. Notify the local Anime Czar, so that he can keep an eye on the article when you go on your wikibreak and that it isnt beaten to death by shitty newfags. Example:
