Congratulations on joining ED! You probably fit into one of these categories:
- 1. New User
- Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. To start with, make multiple small edits to different articles until you have the hang of it. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being molested by ED Sysops.
- If you don't know anything about wiki formatting and code, please read ED:BASIC and the Style Guide. Take your time and start slowly.
- 2. Mediawiki Migrant If you're an experienced wiki user (probably from a Wikipedia offshoot) who knows how to operate, please read ED:101 for offical policy and ED:MIGRANT for tips on assimilation and basic rules.
Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.
Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list.

I disagree with the fact that Paul Fetch's article should get "longer as it details his faggotry". No one is going to read all that, it should just summarize what he is (a faggot) and what he thinks he is (the leader of anonymous), that's it, a couple of lulzy pics and a link to his youtube channel, since, if someone actually gives a fuck about him, they'll check there, not HERE, we're not supposed to advertise this guy...--Anonymorius 15:09, 5 June 2008 (CDT)

Hey, go ahead and edit it. It was your idea, after all. I ask that you keep the Miscaviage image, since Scientologists have to report anything bad they hear of him, including web pages which he will check personally and thoroughly, and the mental image I have of David getting riled up about a picture of him on the internet is something that puts a smile on my face. That being said, I think we might need moar Rule 34 of DM.
As for the hugeness, yes, I agree that it was indeed XBOX huge LOL. But, I only made it huge because, honestly, I wanted more people to get ticked off at the cult and fuel the cult's lulzy reactions, and as a result, I put in way more stuff in there than what should be in one template. I think what triggered my editing and spamming frenzy was when I noticed quite a few Scilon blogs linking to ED and claiming certain articles to be a factual statement of Anonymous' racial and religious intolerance. And so, the 4AM me thought "Hey, they're linking to us and calling us bigots, why don't we show off our research?" and then I crammed as much of Scientology's faggotry as I could, resulting in a bloated mess. Yes, it seems a tad childish, but after reading some of the more sinister writings of L. Ron, I knew that Scientology had to be stopped ASAP. I thought that if I could get Spylons and anyone else reading it, regardless of race or religious beliefs, to start questioning if the cult's calling the kettle black, maybe this would end a bit sooner, hopefully before they can do their worst (and I'm pretty sure they have the money and the brainwashing to do so). But, in the end, I just pretty much tried to stroll on in and cram it down ED's throat. I'll admit what I did was stupid, and I should have thought through my actions more carefully.

Well, I do too (I assume you were being semi-serious), or rather, start and run my own game development company. Luckily, there are in fact accredited universities (ones that aren't diploma factories like ITT Tech) which offer courses in the various aspects of designing teh vidya. And no, they're not art schools either. If your dream of designing hit video games is serious business, I suggest you poke around. While the industry is already growing like crazy, it needs new blood to keep it from becoming entirely casual. HedgeJew 16:36, 28 August 2008 (CDT)
