Congratulations on joining ED! You probably fit into one of these categories:
- 1. New User
- Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. To start with, make multiple small edits to different articles until you have the hang of it. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being molested by ED Sysops.
- If you don't know anything about wiki formatting and code, please read ED:BASIC and the Style Guide. Take your time and start slowly.
- 2. Mediawiki Migrant If you're an experienced wiki user (probably from a Wikipedia offshoot) who knows how to operate, please read ED:101 for offical policy and ED:MIGRANT for tips on assimilation and basic rules.
Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.
Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list.

- After MONGO threatened to ban me, removed one of the two conversations I had with him and archived his talk page, made some odd edits to my userpage, and made some odd minor edits to my conversation with him (I think he likes making things seem like conspiracies...), I'm not too fond of Wikipedia (this excludes the other conversations and attempts I made to get back the ED article). - I have no idea why he did it though. He even reverted himself and I know he's vandalized ED in the past (Ninja's told me this, MONGO thought he was my sockpuppet and told me "Wikipedia isn't a playground"). Since he edited my old comments about ED about half a month later I think he's probably lurking (or has been at some point) on my ED page (maybe), my Uncyc page, and especially my WP page. Hi MONGO! - Yeah, he's always stalking ED, and then blocks people on TOW at random, thinking they are someone here. Always for infinite too, lolololol. I get a kick out of the fact that a mid-30's fatty like him spends his time worrying about what young 20's and younger (generally) think about him on the internet. It's like, how old do you have to be to get past that? Is that what he wants to spend his middle age doing? ANd I can't even believe what length Wikifaggots go to keep him.
