Gascity keeps erasing my jokes on the Kharmii article and since it is about me, I want to change some things I don't particularly like and Gascity isn't willing to compromise. He has to have it his way or no way, even though this is a collaberative site. Also, I'm having issues with people stalking me on LJ. Arjei and Gascity may be unrelated or they may be the same person; either way, Arjei is stalking not just me, but many other women on LJ. The short of it: If he'd leave my revisions alone, then I'd leave him alone.

I've been doing some edits to beef up the Plushie page (nothing earth-shaking, but it's an improvement, hopefully) and I find myself wondering why it's not in the "Essential Reading" section of Furry-related templates. I like the new design, but it gets messed up in Internet Explorer. I found that it works well in firefox, but here's what it looks like in IE7.

I recently found a meme that is similar to Reaction Guys. Except it features three panels, [here] is an example. My question is, is this meme important enough to add to ED or should I forget it and not upload anymore pics? Also, if the answer is it is important should I simply create a new gallery for it on the bottom of the reaction guys page? Or should I make a new page for it? I was chatting with Voronic via e-mail since it's a little more efficient than talk pages and he's got some neat ideas about integrating a few themes from the old template into the portal. We're going to try an experiment with it tonight to see if it works. What do you think about temporarily hiding the BNA and GNA sections? I get the impression that over time they will stop being used, just like the main page's sections, so perhaps we can try removing them on one portal and see if they are missed. Portal Template
Hey, it's up at {{portal}}. I was able to convert the faggotry portal in about two minutes and it looks exactly the same (User:WhiteMystery/Portal:Faggotry) and if you check the code on the page, it's a breeze to set up. There's no reason we can't have templatized content display to allow for custom portals like Chanology, but this will make setting up new portals super easy. I'm going to convert all of the standard layout portals over the next few days to make sure all portals are using the same codebase. This template will have to be something like {{cg}} where we make sure that NOBODY changes without consulting us first. Red ☭ Mystery 12:03, 27 June 2008 (CDT)

Hey, good to see you back! I have been experimenting with some different ways to do portals, to make them both more flexible and easier to make, without needing a template. I've had the best luck so far using absolute css positioning. I doubt I will have anything usable before I leave, but I should be able to give you some examples before too long. It's not a short as the template, but an entire portal can be cut down to a bunch of divs with css properties, one div per transclusion section. In fact, I might set up an example in my userspace later because I think this might be the way we should have been doing it all along. WM 11:01, 19 July 2008 (CDT)
