Template:failsathero

Heya. Coming back from a long Wikibreak, I noticed that someone made "This article contains someone who fails at being an hero" an official template.

However, the template on Crystal Shinkle (and a few other pages) uses a different image from Template:Failsathero. I think that its version is more fitting for the 'official' template. Of course, I would be expected to say that, as I created the image (it's at Image:Selfpwnfail.gif).

However, the template has been locked due to some idiot vandalising it, so I can't change it. Since you locked it, could you help fix this?

I just wanted to say that the article wasn't SSP, and it baffles me that anyone who read it could think so. Kiking other people's work? I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to, but I think it was a case like this: the Ban Appeal article Has The First Letter Of Each Word Capitalized, even though it isn't capitalized on its own page and isn't a formal title so therefore shouldn't be. When I rewrote the Banned page and tried to make a link to Ban appeal, it redlinked on me because I didn't Capitalize Both Letters. Considering that I was trying to make it so that the article was easier to link to and more in line with how articles are generally titled, that's a pretty harsh thing to say.

I mean, my idea is this: people are going to expect to put Adolf Hitler in proper-noun capitalization, and getting a redlink for typing in adolf hitler is expected. However, if someone tries to link to ban appeal as part of a sentence, it will either redlink or if someone has the courtesy to create a redirect page, will just redirect to the incorrectly capitalized Ban Appeal since only the first word is auto-capitalized. Moving the page so that it uses proper capitalization after editing the links on all the pages that link to it (especially since some of them actually had Ban Appeal improperly capitalized in the middle of sentences) seems like a good thing, hence why I threw the old one up for deletion and noted that it had been superceded by the expected page.

I could have replaced the incorrectly capitalized one with #REDIRECT [[Ban appeal]], but I figured that this was extraneous since I knew for sure that nothing linked to it anymore. At the moment, not a single page directly links to Ban Appeal; every page is currently just a redirect from Ban appeal and I'm not sure why the former page still exists as anything but a redirect itself at the very most.

Not sure why recreating an article with a similar, correctly-capitalized title would constitute or give me the appearance of fucking other peoples' work, or why it would be wrong for an Admin to delete an orphaned article (absolutely nothing links directly to it at the moment and nothing did at all at the time I put the {{delete}} tag up).
