THIS IS SERIOUS; READ IT.

Congratulations on joining ED! You probably fit into one of these categories:

1. New User
Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. To start with, make multiple small edits to different articles until you have the hang of it. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being molested by ED Sysops.
If you don't know anything about wiki formatting and code, please read ED:BASIC and the Style Guide. Take your time and start slowly.


2. Mediawiki Migrant If you're an experienced wiki user (probably from a Wikipedia offshoot) who knows how to operate, please read ED:101 for offical policy and ED:MIGRANT for tips on assimilation and basic rules.


Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.


Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list.

  • I won't be around long enough to fix it until later, but if you're having collapsing problems make sure that the uniqueName is unique for each instance. It looks like the one link is collapsing and expanding the other section, which might be caused by the unique name being duplicated. White ♥ Mistress 09:04, 11 June 2008 (CDT)

Okey dokey, I changed a few things around to get it front-page ready, but it was 99% fine. Just so you're aware, I changed some image positioning off to the sides so that it flowed a little better as a written piece and removed several of the image macros so that it would look more encyclopedic. Most of them already exist in other galleries, but I didn't delete anything original to this article. All of the collapsed text is there but I changed from a do-it-yourself collapsing object to a collapsing section template to make it stand out more.   • The page would look much nicer and have much less empty space if you used one quote template for each poem with

Hey, just a heads up that the timing of your article being front paged may be bumped back by two days if this 4chan.js shit continues to be a big deal tomorrow. If it stops, it won't hurt to wait a few days for an article, but if it's still going we want to do immediate coverage, since your guy has already been arrested.   • Well, I break articles on this site into three categories: good articles, bad articles, and stuff I don't understand. For me at least it falls into that third category. I don't really understand it so I can't really give an opinion on the quality, but I know you've been putting a lot of time into it and people are reacting to it, which means it is at least notable.
