Boring talk page is boring.

Join or don't, but taking a look would be nice. Chanology people and ED in general are welcome. Heck, if you're not a Hacker on Steroids come and join us. Or join us anyway, and get paid (Interwebs Cash, I'm not rich) for blargh. --DracoStraybyrn 20:29, 18 March 2008 (CDT)

Hey, I'm divided between a few things now so I'm not sure exactly which name you mean. Can you point me in the right direction and I'll take a look? WhiteMystery

--User:Buffer Heya. Not my place to tell you what to do, but the edit wars on his userpage are a bit pointless. I agree he's a cool person, but repeatedly reverting his userpage might not be such a good idea - after all, it's his userpage, and he has a right to blank it, whereas you will be more vulnerable if he whines to a SysOp, seeing as it's his user page. But again, he is an astoundingly cool pereson, I agree --ElStormo 15:50, 13 April 2008 (CDT)

  • Heh, well, do whatever you want, of course. :) --ElStormo 15:53, 13 April 2008 (CDT)

[edit] Thanks! ^_^

It's really no problem. Yugioh Card Maker has potential and is a generally good article. Also, the fact that it's caused so much controversy is good. While that amounts to more stupid edits, it also allows for more drama to document. Good job thus far and keep up the good work. I just try to see that articles get in and stay in good shape. If you ever need anything else, I'd be glad to help. Also, here's something to make your talk page less boring. :)

Absolutely. Let me know when you're happy with it and I'll check it out and see where we can fit it in. White Mistress 13:13, 19 June 2008 (CDT)

  • Honestly, I don't know much about the topic. I could always look through the article to trim out unnecessary stuff or reword it to make it sound better, but I really don't know a whole lot about the site. The article's not bad, though. ~ endedrural (talk) 18:37, 19 June 2009 (CDT)
  • If you're fine with this, let's put it on Moar You Know for a week or so and see if we can get some attention and really build on it. My next open spots are in July so it would be two weeks before it popped up anyway. Does this work for you? White Mistress 20:22, 19 June 2008 (CDT)
  • Probably some time this weekend. tfo just put a bunch of new stuff up so I'll figure out what's going to be an AOTN so I can replace it. RedMystery 14:13, 20 June 2008 (CDT)

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do (that wouldn't be expensive or time consuming). The only info I can give you is that that IP is coming out of Comcast in Oregon, so you might try contacting their abuse department. It's never made any edits here, so that's all I can tell you. If you're hosting your own server, you might try a firewall rule blocking everything in the 67.189.0.0-67.189.127.255 range, as that is the whole residential block for that region, but nothing would stop that person from using a proxy. So really, the abuse department is probably your best bet, especially if you can provide logs for them. WM 18:42, 7 July 2008 (CDT)

  • If that's your ISP - and since the abuse is coming from within that range and you're a paying customer - I would call them right now. If you don't have the access to make change firewall settings changes, going through your ISP is about your only option. WM 18:58, 7 July 2008 (CDT)
  • It's hard to know if it will do any good - but good luck getting things resolved. WM 19:31, 8 July 2008 (CDT)
