- As I said on the talk page of the image, I just whipped it up in MS Office 2007 and then slapped a watermark on it using photoshop. I think it would be possible to create a blue Axolotl in a lab, as both the Axolotl and the Blue-spotted Salamander can hybridize with the Tiger Salamander. Possibly if a less spotty and lighter shaded blue colour could be bred (maybe a normal dark blue spotted salamander with an albino axolotl) it might be possible to create something very mudkipish.
