User talk:Insider
From Encyclopedia Dramatica
Hello, Insider
THIS IS SERIOUS; READ IT.
Congratulations on joining ED! You probably fit into one of these categories:
- 1. New User
- Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. To start with, make multiple small edits to different articles until you have the hang of it. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being molested by ED Sysops.
- If you don't know anything about wiki formatting and code, please read ED:BASIC and the Style Guide. To start you off:
- Sign your comments using four tildes (like this ~~~~)
- To answer a message, reply on the user's talk page.
- These are the sysops. If you have a problem, talk to them.
- 2. Mediawiki Migrant If you're an experienced wiki user (probably from a Wikipedia offshoot) who knows how to operate, please read ED:101 for offical policy and ED:MIGRANT for tips on assimilation and basic rules.
Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.
Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list and ED IRC. If you need an admin, the list of active ED Sysops will let you know who's around. To chat with or to ask for help from other ED users, then please hit up the experts in #wiki on our IRC.
If you plan on sticking around, feel free to make your mark on the ED:Map and join the ED Facebook, the ED Myspace the ED Bebo and follow the ED Twitter. If that's not enough ED for you, feel free to join the all new ED Forums.

... make sure you link to it in other articles as well so it gets noticed. PS - don't request your article be made main page - we laugh at people who do that. (I may link to it off the Moar You Know in a few days, fyi - we have main page articles scheduled through mid-August right now.) KEKEKETalk to me Listen to me. 16:57, 31 July 2007 (CDT)
- Hey, can you explain the major deletion you just made to that article? Writing "server info" isn't sufficient. White•Mystery 14:33, 2 December 2007 (CST)
Jews did Moon
Nice poetic heading but there is enough crap spam on the article where you put it and it doesn't have much of a connection, except for a few Israeli spies probably being at NASA in those days. The no moon landing conspiracy theory is fun, why not try to make an article about that in general? For internets, there are sites and BBs devoted to the topic, if you do a search on 'Flat Earth' and 'Moon Landing' you will find really Batshit insane stuff. Plus the old movie Capricorn One was on this, even featuring OJ Simpson as one of the fake astronauts for super bonus lulz. I moved what you posted to User:Insider/Moon Conspiracy. If you do try, try to make the words funnier. Have to slow down my EDing for a few days but will help later if you want. Old topic, so no big rush.vanff 13:10, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
What you posted also needs wikification (no links now). Working Edgar Mitchell the new age astronaut into it might also give some mileage.vanff 13:18, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
And yeah, you are right, connecting the faking to Hollywood can give it a Jewish slant, but it would be great as a separate article instead of more half-done crap on that page.vanff 13:22, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Hey
Your page on Divorce doesn't cut it yet. work on it here and get a sysop to move it back for you when you think its ready. Thanks --ܐܪܕܥ 02:11, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
