• My main concern is that there is some behind-the-scenes chatter going on regarding our free speech policies. "ED Improvement Drive 2.1 Racism" smacks of writing on the wall. • It's not my way to do stuff like unilateral reverts or "take my lulz and go home". Also, this would be hypocritical as it would somewhat mirror the current passive-aggressive tactics being employed by sysops. Hell, I dont even care about the J6 article getting axed, really. It's just I fear for the future of this site when we are censoring something because it is "racist". Slippery slope fallacy aside this, does not bode well for the future of free expression on ED. I fear that some of those in charge are willing to sacrifice free speech for everyone else because they have grown out of it, or have some ulterior motive, and if this is the case, then those people need to step aside. It's difficult to go to someone in a position of power and tell them that they are completely and utterly wrong without ruffling their feathers. These are probably people I have 0 clout with and I also fear any person opposing them would be perceived as a racist, ignored, and ultimately ostracized. • I spent an hour trying to get it to not include all that shit, but it's either all or nothing. It's some known bug in the way subst'ing a #select works. It's a pain in the ass because if it just generated it with the phrase only, that would be kinda nice. Jasper do you think you could have a quick look at Portal:Chanology/past I'm trying to incorporate collapsing sections within a set of tabs but I'm a little unsure whether it's being incorporated properly as its quite complicated. Basically I want the section to be able to have sets of 4 protests, but Sea Arrrgh is not showing up in the next set right now. If you could have a look I'd really appreciate it.

• Yeah the first tab is fine, and you can see the 4 listed and their respective contents, but when you click to the "Next Set" it just collapses. The problem is that in incorporating 2 sets of collapsing objects it's gotten overly complicated and I'm a little unsure where I went wrong. I'll leave it up to you as I don't want to mess it up as it is. Also, there was another thing I was going to mention to you as well. When we get the Chanology portal up and running we'll need to alter the chanology template. We've been minimizing the other templates to funnel traffic through the portals. I was planning on replacing it with this but I think with the chanology template that we want to keep a lot of the current links in it, or at worst do a hybrid of the minimized one and the current. Deciding what to keep in and take out is a tricky thing, I think, perhaps, that we could maybe take out the past raids and just leave them as a static list on the Portal. What I know for sure is that we should convert it to a roundbox style and make it much less confusing for the readers. The color scheme is irrelevant that can be changed to whatever.

Hey, I wanted to get a second opinion on something for SecurityBot. I figure while I'm in the process of making a bunch of changes I might as well do the auto-revert based on edit size. I'm thinking auto-revert if more than 40,000 characters added by a new user, 50,000 by an estblished user, trusted + sysop ignored as usual. What do you think about that number? Now for removals... the only way I can think to do it because of the wide variance in page size is a percent loss unless I keep a cumulative of how much a person has erased in total, and revert if that total hits a certain amount.
