- Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.
Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list.

First of all, use the user talk pages for discussions (not user pages), and it's 4 tildes to sign posts like so... ~~ ~~
Next, I don't care what your explanation is, use the preview button and your user page before posting unfunny shit. Fuck. That's what it's there for. You want me to stop bitching, then use the goddamn preview button and then create the article so you don't spam the recent changes page. I'm no more experienced than you, but I managed to lurk moar before posting and actually figured all of that out before changing a goddamn thing on this site. Being a n00b is no excuse. There were twenty-eight edits from you on that article all within a day, ten within the first half hour of existence. Look at other pages and you'll realize that most articles have been edited maybe twenty times (the popular ones), and over the space of weeks by several different contributors. ED is not your hugbox kthkbi.
That article happens to be noteworthy because of his mod status. So after I learned that I stopped putting templates on it that mark it as not. However, for thirty edits, there is still very little writing, it's boring, and noone gives a shit. So either make it better, or STFU n00b!

The VK article is missing some nice links, (her oekaki accounts,etc)and I do agree that it needs cleanup. I'll check around for more screenscaps.
In terms of ED's no DOX policy.
Im currently working on compiling an article on another tartlet. She's an attention whore to the extreme, and happens to have the habit of posting her legal name address and phone number everywhere (She publicly asks her fan-army to send her gifts and porn, and has asked for cash gifts outright at least once.). I'd like to mention this in the article, but if it cant be put on ED, would it be considered appropriate to link screenshots to journals she has posted herself?(also other DOX screencaptures?)

I feel like Ive found the ultimate lolcow next to snapesnogger. This girl got her FAMILY to start fanclubs on DA for her, asks her fans to write erotica of herself, and draws nothing but Yu-gi-oh furry rape, guro, and little boys on leashes (Despite her claims of talent and originalty). AND, she spits in the face of religion by painting herself as a pious, devout, model catholic. May of her journal entries literally juxtapose prayers to god with pedo yearnings.
I'd really like to do justice to the immensity of her faggotry, she deserves nothing less. But it's slow going (Over 3 years of Journal entries)and Im very new at wiki.
Any advice, or help you, or anyone can offer would be incredibly helpful.

I read your blurb about being a wiki neophyte and it doesn'y matter. I think I edited TOW about four times before I jumped in feet-first at ED. And it's all worked out fine; even tho I never read the {{tname}|welcome}}, the Style Guide, the FAQs or nathan.
Just lurk moar and observe protocol, politricks and -finally- wiki formatting as you take ur time. Best thing I did was lurk moar, watch and make tiny edits (thereby seeing how images etc were placed in the format). Nyway..that's my 2¢.

I'm starting to regret using the {{gaming}} template I designed as an example, because people seem to think that every template needs to look like that now. I like the design, but I never intended for every single series template to use it. I've already had to revert back {{memes}} and {{chans}} because people didn't understand they were supposed to be different on purpose. You're welcome to roll back the changes now, if you see fit, or you can wait a day and see if anyone responds to you on the talk page. I had intended to completely redesign the {{da}} template, but not in that manner, so I'll leave it up to you. White•Mystery

Hey, in regards to the Anime template, the old version didn't look a hell of a lot better than the new version, so we should probably leave it alone until someone (probably end up being me) redesigns it. I'm working on this month's newsletter, but I'll put the template on my long list of shit to do. In regards to the blogosphere article, I like the article itself and I agree with your statement that it needs more pictures. The article isn't TL;DR but the intro makes it look like it might be. As far as what content is there/should be there/shouldn't be there, I don't blog and I don't read any blogs, other than my one whore ex girlfriend's blog entry where she broke up with me online, so my experience there is limited. I'm actually going to delete that today - the general consensus on the sysop mailing list was that it's better to leave most galleries unhidden. In extreme cases like Furry where the gallery is huge and full of suck you can use a {{cs}} template to make a collapsing section containing a gallery, but there's a lot of pages like 300 where the gallery really defines the meme. There are also issues with collapsing galleries leading to fucked up page rankings, so until I can figure that out, we're just going to recommend avoiding them. I'll make sure I let you know if we ever figure anything out. White•Mystery
- Well, I keep getting mixed opinions on the damn template so I'm not going to delete it, I'm just not going to add it to the collapsing objects page or talk about it a lot. If you'd like to use it, my best advice would be to use it on new pages only and maybe when we figure out what to do with it, we can add it to older pages. In addition, I'd like to know what you think of the organization and language of the article. I read the more recent rewrites on VanillaKitsune's article, and I really feel that a lot could be accomplished by using simple explanatory language to allow the absurdity of the situation to become apparent in and of it's self. How do you feel on this?

On the IRL Jintetstu portion, I put the home address in as VK's article had it. All of that information is taken from her deviantart journals, I suppose I could screencap those journals and put them together, or I can move the section off ED somewhere. But for the most part, I feel that it's a vital section, as she freely and willingly posted all of that asking her fans to send her gifts and porn. Like her upcoming birth date is publicly announced every year in attempts to ask fans for gifts.

Thanks for your continued interest and support. Two admins got to me about this situation. I explained the following reasoning:
I think this tartlet's wanton online spewing of personal information is a large part of what makes her lulzy. Especially in the context that she publically posted her address urging her fans to send her gifts, and also her phone number, as apparently chatting with random people online isn't enough. A large part of what makes this tartlet interesting is her desperation for approval, attention and human contact. So I feel it's important that this comes across in my article...
I didnt stalk or phish her for any of this information, Ive never talked to her. All this information was taken from her deviantart journals.
Many of her Deviant art journals still remain, including the ones with her bloodtype, birth date, place of birth etc... Those can be linked to, but Ideally I'd like to post them as screencaps in the inevitable event that they will be deleted. (this tartlet is well known for mass deleting sprees)The journal entries with her address and number were from early last year, they've been deleted, so pretty much all I have is the text.
I was going by Vanillakitsune's and Zeriara's article that both have home addresses posted.
The final say is this: Screencap everything, Put in plenty of screencaps. Don't put dox in the text of your article, especially addresses or phone numbers. You can list all the types of personal info she's given, and insane stuff like the hospital she was born in can stay. Dox offsite if you want. Link to everything you can.
That's satisfactory for me. Ive got screencaps of the wanton dox spewing that this tartlet does and can post those. The really lulzy stuff, like her address being given out to gather gifts I'll screencap and post elsewhere off ED... probably under a link "Tell me MOAR."
I still havent had time to correct links and issues with the text. But Ive gotten more images uploaded and screencapped.
Im having alot of difficulty uploading image, (server issues maybe?) and can upload about 2-5 per day. That's no good, but I'll keep trying.

- I considered going to TJC, but I dont think it's a good idea. Like you said, there are few good EDiots, but most importantly, I dont want to accidentally alert her fanbase. (She has a really large fanbase and a good number of them, including herself come on ED regularly.)
So far, Ive been going to good tartlet articles currently in existence (snapesnogger, bean, etc), looking at their edit history and trying to contact the people who wrote them, or made large contributions.
Im really looking for both help and critique. However, it seems that alot of these people are inactive.
