Congratulations on joining ED! You probably fit into one of these categories:
- 1. New User
- Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. To start with, make multiple small edits to different articles until you have the hang of it. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being molested by ED Sysops.
- If you don't know anything about wiki formatting and code, please read ED:BASIC and the Style Guide. Take your time and start slowly.
- 2. Mediawiki Migrant If you're an experienced wiki user (probably from a Wikipedia offshoot) who knows how to operate, please read ED:101 for offical policy and ED:MIGRANT for tips on assimilation and basic rules.
Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.
Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list.
If you plan on sticking around, feel free to make your mark on the ED:Map and join the all new ED Facebook, the ED Myspace the ED Bebo and follow the ED Twitter.

Your article was flushed before you put any more work in only to see it flushed at a later date. Whilst there's a lot of content on ED in the same vein, we're trying to get back to what we're supposed to be about...Internets related lulz and drama. Please read the above and do not attempt to recreate said article or or it's Banhammer time.
However, since Oasis has much drama and lulz with all the shit the Gallaghers stir up ("Jack White looks like Zorro on donuts" etc) if you can make it more like Potty Pete I may reconsider.
If you wanna try, I suggest you work on it off the sysop radar (New Pages) and draft it as a subpage...User:Lurkaglow/Oasis to see if it cuts it.

Hey, you've made an article about Patcondell that, unfortunately, doesn't meet our current standards. Please keep working on it here. Once you have worked on it, contact a sysop to see if you've improved it enough. If you don't know what to do, here are some tips:
- Do not recreate your article in the main namespace. Work on it here.
- Read ED:LULZ, ED:101, and ED:RR.
- Make it long enough to be worth reading (a few paragraphs, at least).
- Use headings and insert images.
- Link to a few sources. We appreciate embellishments, but frown on outright fabrications.
- NoTE : i really think Pat deserves a great article ... i will prob add to it myself
- plz work on this to a greater extent after reading ED:101 - feel free to talk with me about it
