Edit wars I mentioned

Someone made an article on some autistic gamer called Darviela Maravarona. I don't really remember the contents of said article, but basically the subject of the article came in and tried to edit it, but apparently wasn't quickly banned. The author then started editting the subject's edit and they both began reverting each other's edits and reverts, to the point where it was almost always on the Recent Changes list. Finally, WM redirected it to shit nobody cares about (as you would tell by clicking on the link) and banned both sides for a week. We have a case of banned faggots returning under different names to deface articles in retarded edit wars with blatantly false information. I'm hoping you can do something about it. User:Aspirin, who keeps defacing ACF's page, is User:The_Doctor under a different username and doesn't seem to get the message that nobody in ACF's community thinks his side of the story is at all worth listening to, despite his edits repeatedly being reverted by multiple members of the community. • Got a follow up question for you, since we're both on. I currently have the broken redirect and double redirect fixing on MysteryBot turned off since the vandals found a way to exploit them and trick the bot into deleting pages. I'm thinking of making the following changes and wanted to get your opinions.

-Broken Redirects: Ignore unless it has existed for at least 3 hours to give a person a chance to revert vandalism. -Double Redirects: Ignore unless it has existed for at least 3 hours to give a person a chance to revert vandalism. -Dead End Pages: Ignore unless the last edit was over an hour ago.

As far as I can tell, that won't significantly hurt any functionality, and I think 3 hours is enough for SOMEONE to come revert the vandalism. In the future I might be able to have the bots communicate and SecurityBot can provide MysteryBot with a list of vandalized pages, but that's probably a few weeks off. What do you think? As for the admin tools, I'm trying to use them responsibly. I look at a user's contributions before using the banhammer, always. I need to improve on my leaving talk page messages though. As for deletions, I feel I've been pretty fucking OK so far. Well, everything on my userpage from Boobpedia onwards was written after having quit drinking. I think my rate of writing articles must surely have gone up by a fair extent - 13 articles and a template in a little more than 2 weeks. And no, I was not studying journalism; what made you think that?

To be quite honest I don't think my articles are awesome, but they're pretty good by ED standards in my USI opinion.

What I am focusing on here with ED is improving content, and improving coverage (new articles). It's really fucking satisfying to see lulz coverage just get more and more comprehensive. I sort of see it as kinda like building up an empire, you know?
