Made another MMO page

It's Star Wars: The Old Republic. So far, I haven't found any lulz worth posting. I've pretty much just written a page of history and that people need to keep watch of the page once the game goes up. I will be trying to cover all the lulz coming out of this game once it reaches a status of 1) Active Forums 2) Beta 3) Actually Released. If you could add this to the templates if you think what I have is fine for right now. If you think it is that bad a stub, just redirect it to Star Wars and I will re-write it once the game comes out. I tried to make it not a stub. EVE Online Drama

LOL. There's a guy on EVE who apparently thinks he knows everything. He always tries to put me down in EVE whenever he talks to me in the game saying that I don't know shit etc etc. Tonight was very lulzy though. He said the entire article isn't worth reading, is highly inaccurate (because of the profit stuff which is probably the only part he read), and should be deleted. He started droning on and on about how stupid a was about the article until I said he was butthurt. Right away the guy was like "NAH I'm not butthurt. Why am I butthurt? You're the one that wrote the shit article. I should delete it." Then, he started just going "?" to everything I said to him after that. Every argument we get into, I always win somehow. re:Gaming Portal

Hi. Yeah I think this is a great idea. What I think we should do to start is you should make a mockup visual of how you think it should look, then we can go from there. The thing with a gaming portal is that it will probably need to look a little bit different than other portals due to the template structure and the nature of the category. It's probably why I avoided finishing one last year. So we want to start with a rough idea of how you want the main page to look. I have an idea of how we could lay it out though so I'll start on something in userspace in the next couple days or so and I'll get your opinion on it. Drop the visual on my talk or email if that's easier and we can exchange ideas of how we can break down the template into the portal and what other features on the portal you think would be good. We don't need to have it finished super quick or anything so we can take our time to flesh this out. lmk.

  • Yeah just a quick shoop of what you think you'd want it too look like visually or how you want sections arranged, ideas for sections, etc, doesn't need to be fancy or anything. I'm working on the skeleton here for now btw.   • Ah! a Next|Previous for the departments and/or the Moar sections is a great idea. The Departments section is a little problematic because of the empty space it causes for the Moar section so we can fiddle round with some morph tabs for that to even it out I think. As for pics/gifs to fill in some sections too, I think it'd be a nice change to have an animated gif it the title bar or something as long as it isn't too big of course since a huge gif will cause a lot of lag. I think we're pretty much on the same page, please feel free to tinker with what I'm doing as what I've done so far was just off the top of my head and mostly based a lot on the other portals. But we can toy a lot with this and move shit round if we decide it works better later, everything can be changed.

  • It's all good, I'm going to look at some of the morph options and I'll probably just do something simple or be lazy and just adapt something from the raids section on the Chanology Portal maybe. What we need to do shouldn't be too complicated though cause we will probably only need 2 tabs, and if we want to have a tabbed set up for the Moar section similar to the YouTube or Chanology Portals sections we could alternate between vids and pics tabs for the Moar section if we want as well.

  • Yeah I think it's fixed now, I just checked in IE too and it seems to be okay but I'll leave a larger height buffer for lower res and ghetto monitors to be safe. I think we can just put all the MMORPGs in a designated tab in the Shit Games section and that should probably work. We can do vids or pics in the Moar section either is cool, I'll leave it for vids and you can add some if you want and if you or Zaiger want to add some good gifs for the Departments or even Shit Games sections that would be awesome. Yeah we'll convert the template the same as we did for {{ljseries}}, {{furfaggotry}}, {{ytseries}}, etc, once we have the portal up and running, but for the {{MMORPG}} I don't know if we need to do that. Everything in that template seems to actually be covered on the portal anyways but since it's not that big and a pretty specialized we could probably leave it just as easy.

Gaming Portal

I think we're almost ready to go on this. I've made the height for the dept malleable so if you or whoever else still want to drop some animations in there you'll need to set the height back to static. If there's anything else you want done though you should tell me because, short of some minor tweaks I still need to make, I'd like to have this up by tomorrow.

Just because it's more than 2 pictures but not more than 5(at the time), and I was going to reduce it to the 2 initials and un-collapse to the rest. Either way, good job.
