User talk:Ritegroic
From Encyclopedia Dramatica
Hello, Ritegroic
THIS IS SERIOUS; READ IT.
Congratulations on joining ED! You probably fit into one of these categories:
- 1. New User
- Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. To start with, make multiple small edits to different articles until you have the hang of it. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being molested by ED Sysops.
- If you don't know anything about wiki formatting and code, please read ED:BASIC and the Style Guide. Take your time and start slowly.
- 2. Mediawiki Migrant If you're an experienced wiki user (probably from a Wikipedia offshoot) who knows how to operate, please read ED:101 for offical policy and ED:MIGRANT for tips on assimilation and basic rules.
Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.
Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list.
If you plan on sticking around, feel free to make your mark on the ED:Map and join the all new ED Facebook, the ED Myspace the ED Bebo and follow the ED Twitter.
Plz to be read. Chenquieh!

[1] What do you think of this? Ritegroic 11:02, 19 August 2007 (CDT)
- Well . . . it's not actually true, since (amazingly enough) I've never worn a fursuit. Perhaps "would be pretty hot with a fursuit on"? Also, the spelling is wrong, should be GreenRaeper per the article. As for Eloquence, he's a cool guy, and I'm sure any girl he marries will get plenty of efficient and satisfying German sex. [edit] Very lulzy...
Those aren't the worst pictures I drew...
I didn't even upload my "furry porn" era...
I could if you want to, if you get off on that sort of stuff...
And besides, it'd be... for the lulz, right?
Come to think of it however, I have it all in a box, which is underneath this other box, which happens to be a very heavy box, with computers inside, and that's underneath a big metal box with exercise equipment, and that is all on a very high shelf in the garage...

Actually, I was never banned from Citizendium. Please don't add in false information. I quit from Citizendium in a big blaze of glory, and then a day afterwards they initiated a pathetic and meaningless ban, which was supposedly "because I had asked to be banned". Quitting from somewhere is a fucking great difference from being banned from somewhere. Get your facts straight. Blissyu2 11:03, 23 January 2008 (CST)

[edit] Blissy
Hey, I discussed that with Mori when it happened. Blissy was causing a lot of trouble on-site and bothering sysops off-site. He was wrecking articles here. He would post stuff and then write one of us demanding that it get taken down. We made the final decision because of the huge pain in the ass he had become. If he wants to come back, he gets ONE chance, and then the infinite block is reinstated with no chance for appeal. White ♥ Mistress 22:50, 9 June 2008 (CDT)
- P.S. If that's what he would like, just shoot me a message or e-mail and I'll get it for you. If you want it done tonight, I'll be around for about another hour. White ♥ Mistress 23:02, 9 June 2008 (CDT)

Since u r the #1 blissy drama fan on ED I guess u would have seen this post where he claims to be a srs Wikipedian Jew or vice versa. Follow the link to the Wikipedia page and thar is a man who has little resemblance the pics Blissy posts of "himself". "Claims" because ED history definitely says blissyu2 not "shalom" posted Zordrac/Poetlister on ED. I thought u were maybe being too hard on blissy but seein' this and his posts on various wikipedo sites, I have to change my mind. Lawls plz give us back our Maddie 06:13, 14 June 2008 (CDT)
- "Sorry, but I am confused as to why that is a confession of me being a Wikipedia Jew. One of my distant relatives was Jewish (although apparently it is handed down from the mother, which means that I am not considered to be a Jew). I am related to Ann Frank (6th cousin twice removed, I believe). Our family changed their last names during world war 2 (from Frank to Franks) to distance ourselves from this. My grandfather even had a fake birth certificate. But amongst all of this, I didn't grow up Jewish, I never felt Jewish, there is no Jewish faith and so forth. I actually hate people talking about Jews all of the time. Jew this, Jew that. Everyone is either pro-Jew or anti-Jew. I get sick of it and would really rather talk about something else. As for the protest about Poetlister, you can read about it here User:Zordrac/Poetlister and User:Blissyu2/Poetlister. It had nothing to do with Jewishness, or otherwise. It had to do with SlimVirgin doing her usual trick of lying about people. Blissyu2 08:37, 6 July 2008 (CDT)
[edit] reply
I didn't actually notice that I was banned. I got frustrated with ED, because they were suddenly adding unfunny lies about me. What is the point of saying I was banned on the 5th of November when I was actually banned on the 7th of November? It just seemed idiotic. Furthermore, what was the point of them claiming that I never owned Wikipedia Review when there was proof that I did? It was idiotic and stupid. I just got sick of it in the end and lost interest in writing on ED. Actually today was the first time since then that I had thought about writing anything. That is actually a month after they released the ban, and 5 months after I was banned. I have not been interested in Wikipedia of late.
To reply to your comment:
I have now found out what has happened, and, other than the dates, the Wikipedia Review article here is pretty much right now. Basically, this is the situation:
- 5th November 2005: Igor Alexander starts Wikipedia Review at ProBoards
- 16th January 2006: Blissyu2 registers www.wikipediareview.com with GoDaddy
- 16th February 2006: Blissyu2 hosts wikipediareview.com through Lunarpages
- (18th February 2006: Igor Alexander bans Selina from the ProBoards site because she called him a neo nazi)
- 19th February 2006: Selina, as the coder of wikipediareview.com, opens the site. She then uses "emergency admin powers" to counter-ban Igor Alexander from the new site. Amusingly, 2 1/2 years later, she is still an administrator.
- 16th February 2007: Blissyu2 registers wikipediareview.com for a 2nd year (due to end 16th January / 16th February 2008)
- mid 2007 sometime: Somey registers wikipediareview.com with hostgator, paying fresh hosting charges.
- 7th November 2007: Somey hacks Blissyu2's account.
I (Blissyu2) owned the account. But I owned it through Gator. Because Somey now had it hosted through hostgator, in effect he had stolen the account by simply paying for it a 2nd time. I would have got an e-mail about it, but the e-mail address that I used to sign up with it, an Internode address, had been extinct for over 18 months, so I couldn't do anything. Put simply, I wasn't paying much attention.
The problem was that they required me to call them, which meant calling them at 5am. It was very difficult to do it all. They then wouldn't answer their phone and put me on hold for 2 hours, then would call me back when I was at work. The whole process was a nightmare. I ended up giving up on it all.
Somey was tricky with what he did, but he must have known what he was doing.
It's not true that someone on GoDaddy got confused because Wikipedia Review was never hosted there in the first place - that was what I objected to. Wikipedia Review very much was hosted there.
It is really upsetting that people accuse me of lying about that.
As Nathanr suggested, however, I didn't really own it, I simply donated the entire cost of running the site, set it all up, and took on responsibilities akin to owning it.
I always said from the very beginning that if they became stalkerish, or LJ Drama like, I would leave. Thanks to Kato, that is what they became.
I can't say that there is much chance that they have stopped either. Perhaps ED people will like them more now that they are doing so many wrong things now. Blissyu2 08:33, 6 July 2008 (CDT)
[edit] November 5th or 7th
There should be a web reference for both issues (the date that Wikipedia Review was founded, and the date that I was banned).
For when I was banned, look at Robert Black's blog. I forget the address, but you should be able to see it if you follow the right links. The blog that was the centre for my banning had me posting there when I was given a "mandatory holiday". I don't think that it was November 5th. I remember writing a note on WR about our 2 year anniversary and a couple of days after that being banned. Nobody there seemed to care about its 2 year anniversary.
As for when it started, Igor Alexander never said, and the internet archive didn't record the 1st ever post, but we can piece it together as being either November 4th 2005 or November 5th 2005. As for why we came up with that date, it was based on extensive google searches for Igor Alexander advertising the sites by posting in blogs. If you go to internet archive and look at the original site there were quotes by SummerFR and such. In some of the related blogs, you will see Igor Alexander posting there to advertise the site. This is taken as the date that Wikipedia Review was founded.
I think that I wrote 5th November to mean the founding of the site, and not the date that I was banned. I am pretty sure that it was 7th November.
As for it being Guy Fawkes day, I believe that Igor Alexander was from Russia, hence I don't think that that was particularly relevant to him. Of course, he is supposedly Alex Linder (or was it Alex Lindt, I can never remember) which makes him American, but he always said he was Russian. Blissyu2 08:43, 6 July 2008 (CDT)
- Yeah look I don't know who Igor Alexander really was. I don't know who Somey really is. Or Kato. Or Glassbeadgame. Apparently we now know who The Fieryangel is, but lots of them there are not known. Igor Alexander however always said that he was Russian. He didn't speak much English, and didn't speak it very well. It is I suppose theoretically possible that he was secretly Alex Linder. But he never had a single anti-semitic thing there. He was calm and rational and quite normal in all things. Maybe it was just because he didn't speak English too well. Blu Aardvark would know his IP, as Blu could see his IPs at one point. Maybe he knows where he was from. Even if he was really Alex Linder, he never acted like Alex Linder, so who cares? Blissyu2 09:07, 6 July 2008 (CDT)
