- I second the notion. It is the funniest incarnation of article that I have read in some time. HedgeJew 14:51, 13 May 2008 (CDT)
- Scroton, I'd like to see this polished up and put on the Moar You Know if my brothers concur. Head on over to the article and see what you think of the changes I've made. (I've also left you some advice on the discussion page.)PieAreSquare 03:20, 14 May 2008 (CDT)
- Oh, I added it to good new articles yesterday. I meant to tell you that, Scroton, but I kind of forgot. Anyway, it's on the front page under the "Good New Articles" section. The section cycles every hour, so you may not see it right away.

- Excellent article indeed, too bad it's getting raepd by newfags adding reference to Hitler, Gordon Freeman or
Chuck NorrisTony Stark every 50 words. Hope people will manage to keep it clean -- ChokinOnLulz 13:23, 4 June 2008 (CDT)
[edit] Consider this a welcome present on your first article

Hey dude, just wanted to give you a heads up that I'll be front paging your article near the end of this month. If you'd like to do any kind of cleanup on the article before then, feel free. Let me know if we can help with anything. White ♥ Mistress 12:55, 19 June 2008 (CDT)
[edit] Rain on ur parade
the article is crap, concepts stolen, if u rilly have something to say work it out 1st.VandalFucker 10:58, 30 June 2008 (CDT)
I thought the original form of the article was pretty decent. Either way though, it’s not much of an issue if you do think it’s crap. I don’t care. What I do care about is your (and that other fucker’s) assertion that I stole the concept for the article. I assume you’re referring to the same “Self-aware” bullshit article that he is.
FOR YOUR PERUSAL:
Things the articles have in common:
-They both have a pseudo-scientific tone.
-They both document some sort of “research”
-They both use math equations (the equations in “the theory of lulz” WERE NOT written by me)
-They both have letters and pictures in them, and are both hosted on ED
Things the articles do not have in common:
-“Self-Aware” is about, according to the article, A PHENOMENON IN WHICH “A LARGE, CHAOTIC SYSTEM THAT IS CAPABLE OF SELF-REFERENTIALITY…” BECOMES SELF-AWARE AND PRODUCES “A SOURCE OF THE MYTHOLOGICAL LULZ ON TAP…”
-“The Comprehensive Theory of Lulz” is about A SERIES OF EXPERIMENTS THAT LEAD TO THE FORMATION OF A QUANTUM-THEORY-SPOOFING SET OF LAWS RELATING TO THE INTERNET AND ITS COMPOSITION.
-I did not masturbate while looking at the “self-aware” talk page
-“The Comprehensive Theory of Lulz” is, in my opinion, humorous and worthwhile.
As I’ve stated before, the initial idea for this article was spawned by looking at “Internet Hate Machine” and then added to with “Hugbox”. I linked to both of those articles multiple times in the article and it should have been quite obvious to anyone going to either of those two that I was inspired by them. (I used the format in the “Internet Hate Machine” for all the pictures, as well as the first 4 “experiments”. The other pictures, while using the same format as the “Hate Machine” ones, were made by me.) There was, however, nothing at all taken from “Self-Aware”, which I had not even seen until it was linked to in a banner on the top of "The comprehensive Theory of Lulz" article.
If you are going to continue to claim that I stole the idea for this article, please provide something to back up your claims. Other than the fact that they share, at times, similar tone (which many many many unrelated works of prose do), they have absolutely nothing in common.
It has occurred to me that you may be attempting to troll. If this is the case its perfectly fine—the amount of time spent responding to you is minimal, and it is well worth the excitement and sexual gratification I receive from replying to your comments.
