Congratulations on joining ED! You probably fit into one of these categories:
- 1. New User
- Before making your first article look over ED:101. Try checking out random articles and fixing typos, grammar and/or bullshit where you find them before trying to make a new page. To start with, make multiple small edits to different articles until you have the hang of it. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being molested by ED Sysops.
- If you don't know anything about wiki formatting and code, please read ED:BASIC and the Style Guide. To start you off:
- Sign your comments using four tildes (like this ~~~~)
- To answer a message, reply on the user's talk page.
- These are the sysops. If you have a problem, talk to them.
- 2. Mediawiki Migrant If you're an experienced wiki user (probably from a Wikipedia offshoot) who knows how to operate, please read ED:101 for offical policy and ED:MIGRANT for tips on assimilation and basic rules.
Whichever you are, to successfully contribute to ED, please take some time to look around, note why other people get banned and don't act like they did.
Communication with other users prevents misunderstandings and can be done through talk pages, TJC and the mailing list and ED IRC. If you need an admin, the list of active ED Sysops will let you know who's around. To chat with or to ask for help from other ED users, then please hit up the experts in #wiki on our IRC.
If you plan on sticking around, feel free to make your mark on the ED:Map and join the ED Facebook, the ED Myspace the ED Bebo and follow the ED Twitter. If that's not enough ED for you, feel free to join the all new ED Forums.

Just checkusered her, and all five of the IP addresses she uses are linked solely to her account. This doesn't mean that she couldn't have created socks under different IPs though. - I actually have the file name for that file saved in a notepad file to work on it later. But, I guess you just don't give a shit right now. I also shopped that file when I first saw it in the TJC(you can go look) because I liked it that much, so I do acknowledge it's awesome. It's one of those "duh" things that just came to me: "Hey, here are two violently diverging opinions that both seem to have some validity but that would be difficult if not impossible to fit together. Why not make a couple simple modifications such that they are describedas being from different perspectives?" I mentioned this to an ED user/IRL friend of mine, and he opined that things like this are what make wikis great - the ability for any user who figures out how to resolve an issue to just modify the content immediately.
