I'll start off saying what The beautiful people was all about (not the article, but the story behind it). SlimVirgin attacks lots and lots of people, gets them all banned, accuses them of being sock puppets, changes truth in to lies, POV pushes, changes the rules, and does whatever the fuck she likes. The single most heavily analysed and absolutely stupendously ridiculous example in history is the story told in The beautiful people. They were in fact very kind, uncontroversial users who didn't cause any problems, and were considered to be good enough to be admins in all sorts of wiki projects, but they were bashed just because SlimVirgin wanted to win an edit war, and she tried to destroy their good names. On Wikipedia, they are severely bashed. Everywhere outside of Wikipedia, they are thought of very highly. Hence bashing them has the effect of taking the side of SlimVirgin and Wikipedia. It was, in essence, a smear campaign begun by SlimVirgin to allow her to control articles. She makes lots of smear campaigns, yet hypocritically complains when other people talk about it, and labels them as smear campaigns. See Wikitruth's article on SlimVirgin.
Now, I shouldn't have made the article, that's true. I suck at writing ED-style articles. Come to think of it, I suck at writing WP-style articles too. My main excuse is that I was seriously ill at the time, with a bronchial infection, and was prescribed copious amounts of codeine to help to recover, which gave me hallucinations. Whilst having these hallucinations, I wrote that article (yes, I was also quoted on Wikipedia Review too - which is fair enough, although I'd prefer it if they linked to what I actually said, as I don't usually hallucinate, only while I was high on codeine). For some reason I thought that the article could be used to back up the SlimVirgin story, but because it was such a major issue, it needed its own separate article. Indeed, it wasn't meant to be pro-Poetlister, pro-Brownlee, or pro-anyone else. It was meant to be anti-SlimVirgin, and anti-Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters, and anti-Wikipedia, and anti-cabal. If there was anything pro in there at all, it was accidental. In fact, Poetlister is quite happy if it is somewhat anti-Poetlister too. She doesn't mind if you suggest that she showed her my tits and I fapped off to it (that isn't true, but we don't car if you say it). Taxwoman doesn't mind if you call her a bondage queen (she is, basically). I'm sure that you could call Taxwoman a sick fuck, and that'd be perfectly fine, so long as you link to some of the things that she's done (look on Wipipedia, not on Wikinfo - Wipipedia is the bondage wiki, where she mostly hangs out, and that's where you'll get the juiciest posts - also pics).
As for why Wikipedia Review won't allow anonymous editors, its because Wikipedia Review doesn't like trolls. There was a time early on when we had lots and lots of trolls, and the whole place was having serious problems ever focussing on criticising Wikipedia full stop. It wasn't until we got rid of all of the trolls that we finally got our head over water. They still come in, with Grace Note calling us holocaust deniers, someone claiming to be a Nobel Prize winning psychiatrist insisting that I am schizophrenic, and of course Wikipedia admins who insist that we are all one person. But things like the added registration make it a lot harder.
I know that ED likes trolls, but we have different aims. Indeed, why would we encourage trolls, when there are other places to do that? Not every place has to be the same.
If you really don't have a shell e-mail account you can register from, or are so very worried about your privacy that you don't want to trust WR admins with knowing your e-mail address, you can try to make your case by sending WR admins an e-mail. In theory, in very exceptional circumstances, we have allowed people to sign up with free e-mail addresses. 3 times I think. 3 approvals, 5,000 or so refusals. You never know, you might get lucky. But you'd have to have a mighty good reason.
Or else you can be like 90% of Wikipedia Review visitors, and just view. You miss out on most of the juicy information though if you are only looking at the public forums. Blissyu2 18:36, 24 August 2007 (CDT)

There was an extra empty collapsing span link which most likely confused the script. The first one was called example, the second fucktards, so the script went looking for all the stuff based on "example" and gave up when it couldn't find it, and didn't look for the fucktards stuff. It doesn't do any error checking because that's really slow, but I'll modify it to fail more gracefully in the future. Hey Tfo, I like to look through all the pages using collapsing stuff (because I'm anal/because I care/etc.) and I noticed that the collapsing sections aren't displaying right. The code is all correct, it could possibly be the presence of images that's messing it up but I'm not sure. On IE (at least on mine) none of the sections are collapsed or toggle when the link is clicked, even though the link changes text like it should. I just tried it in firefox and it works there like you said, so my best guess is that IE is getting fucked up because some of the images intersect the div frame. Well... Every page is experiencing a case of gigantism. Some pages, such as LittleCloud and Encyclopedia Dramatica:Threat, seemed much larger than others earlier, but now, everything seems about three sizes too large. This is easily remedied by knocking down the Text Size in Internet Explorer, but the pages really shouldn't be acting like this in the first place.
